Storm Of the Century By: Tony Hazuka   It was a wet and stormy night. The rain was hitting the roof with such force that it sounded like a bulldozer hitting a tree. Inside the bright yellow house a litte boy and his nine friends were huddled in a dark corner scared out of their mind. "Ahh", screamed the boys all at the same time as the gargantuan streak of blue lightning struck across the pitch black room.  "We're all gonna die. We're all gonna die", screamed the short, sweet, and shy Timmy.  "Shutup you stupid little baby. We are inside the house we are not going to get struck with lightning",said Bobby the biggest kid in the corner.  All of the kids, except for Bobby screamed simutaniously as the window shattered.  "Look what happened", yelled Mark over the roaring thunder.Little Timmy was killed as he was struck by lightning that shattered the window. All of the kids including Bobby were running screaming their heads off.As hours passed inside the house the storm only got worse. Coming like a freight train an F5 tornado ripped through the house.  After twelve minuetes the tornado was gone and the storm decreased in strength. After the storm only four boys were left alive while six were killed. Saddened the four boys cried and mourned for the loss of their friends. Their parents came to pick them up and the boys told the story of that frightful night. "Mom it was horrifying. It was the worse night of my life", said Mark crying worse than he had ever cried before. After four hours of weeping and sobbing the boys were off to home. Tormented from their loss the funeral would be the final farewell for their dead comrades. At the funeral Bobby, Mark, Jake, and Tyler weeped for the last time at the loss of their six friends. Each of the four boys gave speeches saying that they wish they were dead and the others were still alive. Even though the six boys' lives were over on earth they weren't over eternaly for they went on to live with the one and only Jesus Christ. THE END The stories of the four living boys will continue in a fight for death, friendship, and power, what will happen next find out in part 2 of this series.

Desopilar I liked it. IT was sad. I think that you got the point across well, even without more details. It would help, the details, but it was very interesting and pulled me in till the end. When will/did you post the second chapter?

You forgot that there were 9 friends, not 10. If 6 died only 3 would be left alive. This could be a very good story if you would add some more details about the events leading up to the storm, the storm itself, and the after affects it had on the children.

onlyangelhere At first your story was starting to worry me.. Thought maybe that you were a bit morbid, but then I got to the end and realized that you are so right. The children did not die they are in heaven and playing with all the other children there. They are in a happier place and safely being held in God's Arms. Thank you.
