Chapter 4

Cole and Lucy go out into the field to watch the stars Cole brings with them a blanket and a picnic basket with some food in it. Cole lays the blanket down and sets the basket on it they both set on the blanket. Lucy is setting in between Cole’s legs he has his arms around Lucy and kisses her on the top of the head. Cole then takes his cowboy hat off and places it on her head and he says now you look great with my hat on your head. They stay in the field watching the stars for awhile and they hear the crickets chirping she says well I better be getting home I have to work in the morning. Cole says awe I was wanted to stay like this for awhile longer he asks do you work tomorrow night she says no I don’t why?

He says cause I was wanted to have dinner with you Lucy says sure I’d love to. Then he walks her to her car and kisses her goodnight and says have sweet dreams tonight she says night and I’ll try to have sweet dreams and drives home. The next morning Lucy is very happy you can tell by the way she’s acting and she’s just in a very good mood. Serenity walks in listening to her IPOD says good morning someone is in a good mood today and is positively glowing did you get laid. Lucy laughs and says no I just had a great night with Cole is all it was a romantic night. Serenity asks so how was it romantic Lucy says well we made dinner together, watched the sunset and watched the stairs.

Serenity says awe how sweet I wish I could get my man to do something like that sounds like Cole likes to romance a girl his a dying breed hun. Lucy says I know there aren’t many like him left in this world these days. Serenity asks so do you want to go hang out or go to the country dance club tonight with Justin and me you can bring Cole with you. Lucy says I don’t know Cole wanted to have dinner tonight Serenity says well if you change your mind call me on my cell ok honey. She says ok Serenity I’ll run it by Cole then they get to working around the coffee shop they have music playing in the background. The radio is on one of their favorite country stations and its playing the song Teardrops on my guitar by Taylor Swift one Lucy’s favorite singers. Its also one of her favorite songs she has a lot of favorite songs and she loves country music and other types of music too. She’s singing along with the song then her cell phone rings she answers it and its Cole.

They says hello to each other he asks her what she’s doing she says just working in my coffee shop doing waitress and working the register since I’m kinda short handed. She asks Cole and what are you doing? He says just doing my chorus and I might try breaking in a horse. Then Cole asks her we still on for dinner tonight she says yeah (she says this next part really fast cause she’s afraid he’ll say no) but I was thinking maybe we could go out to the country dance club after dinner. We don’t have to if you don’t want to. Its just Serenity offered for us to go with her and her husband. He says no that’s fun with me actually it sounds like it will be a lot of fun he says well I got go I’ll see you tonight he says bye and she says bye to him and they hang up. After Lucy gets off work she goes home takes a shower and get ready to go over to Cole’s. She picks out dark blue low-rise jeans with a black spaghetti strap shirt with white lace on top of it and at the bottom of it too with a button up flannel shirt to go over it. Her hair is down and wavy then puts on a cowboy hat she has make-up on.

Meanwhile at Cole’s his cooked a good looking dinner his set two candles in the center of the table and lights them. He sets the food on the table just as he puts the last thing on the table the doorbell rings its Lucy he gave her a red rose and hugs and kisses her. Cole says you look beautiful tonight she says thank you, you look rather handsome yourself Cole decided he’d wear blue jeans and a whit T-shirt under his blue long sleeved flannel shirt and his cowboy hat on. He leads her to the kitchen and she says awe a candle lit dinner this is beautiful she has tears in her eyes and Cole asks what’s wrong did me making a candle lit dinner upset you? She says no these are happy tears and joyful tears he says whew I thought I’d upset you and I’d never want to do that. She smiles and then kisses him he whips away a happy tear that fell with his thumb.

Before they sit down to eat their dinner Cole takes his cowboy hat off and places it on the kitchen counter. During dinner they talk he tells her he can play the guitar and he also sings when he plays it. She says wow I’d love to hear it sometime if you don’t mind he says no I love to sing she says I do too they smile at each other. After dinner Lucy calls serenity and tells her that Cole and her are going to be leaving for the country dance club in alittle bit. Serenity says cool Justin and I will meet you here they say their goodbye’s and hang up. Cole says so are we ready to go she says yeah I’m ready whenever you are they get into his pick-up truck and drive to the dance club.

When they get there Cole meets Justin and Serenity which he already knew from the coffee shop. Justin is 24 his 6’1 he has light brown hair that’s medium length for a guy locks of it occasionally fall in from of one of his eyes which makes him look ever sexier then he already is. He weights 160 pounds has a muscular build and has a light blue eyes that have a tent of green in them. His wearing blue jeans and a T-shirt that says save a horse ride a cowgirl and a baseball cap on. Lucy says Serenity you probably already know cause the coffee shop he says I’d see her but didn’t really know her name. This is her husband Justin Coop Cole says nice to meet both of you he shakes both of there hands. While Justin and Serenity are on the dance floor Lucy and Cole are at a table Cole says to Lucy I have something I have to tell to you. Lucy is scared of what he has to tell her a million of questions are forming in her head.
