The Cowboy chapter 3

She answers her cell phone its Serenity Lucy says hey Serenity can I call you back later. Serenity says but I wanted to hear all the juicy details Lucy says I’ll tell you later bye talk to you later Serenity says bye talk to you later. Cole give her a look she says it was just Serenity he says well you could have talked with her if you would have wanted to. She says no its alright I can talk to her later she won’t mind Cole says well I gotta get going I’ll see you tomorrow at the coffee shop. She says I won’t be there it’s my day off then she says how about we do something tomorrow I’ll come over tomorrow.

He says ok sure sounds good to me he kisses her good night and says see you tomorrow. After Cole has gone home she calls Serenity and tells her all about the she had with Cole she tells Serenity his an amazing guy she says I really like him. Serenity says you sure it’s just like and not love Lucy says I’m not sure yet but I can’t wait to find out. She hangs up the phone with Serenity and gets ready for bed and goes to sleep for the night. The next day Lucy goes over to Cole’s ranch when she gets there Cole is breaking in a horse his wearing blue jeans with black chaps over them and a cowboy hat.

Lucy notices and sees he has a 6 pack and a tattoo on one of his arms it s of a rope that wraps around his arm. When Lucy sees him she thinks to herself oh wow he looks really hot Cole gets off the horse and says hey good looking. She says it looks like your busy breaking in a horse do you want me to come back later. He says no of course not let me put my shirt back on and put her back into her stall and I’ll be right with you. Sweat is just glistening off of him she says you might want to take a shower first. He says yeah I am kinda sweaty then he gives her a kiss and put the horse up.

Then they go into the house and Cole says well I’ll be back in a few I’m going to take a shower and change. While I do that make yourself at home you can watch TV or something. Cole gets back from his shower he is now dressed in jeans and a flannel shirt he finds Lucy in the living room asleep on the couch looked like she’d fall asleep watching some TV program. Cole picks her up and carries her to his bed he tucks her in and kisses her on the forehead. He goes downstairs and settles down on the couch and reads a book. Lucy wakes up a few hours later and goes downstairs and sees Cole on the couch reading a book. She says why didn’t you wake me after you got through with your shower. Cole says you looked so peaceful so I thought I’d let you sleep but I did carry you up to my bed.

She says thanks that was nice of you and then she gives him a kiss. Cole asks do you like to watch the stars Lucy says yeah I think there beautiful why he says I thought later tonight we could watch the stars together and maybe even the sunset. She says that sounds nice but what are we going to do till dark cause its only alittle after 2 in the afternoon. Cole says have you had anything for lunch yet Lucy says no I haven’t why he says cause I’m going to make us a spectacular lunch.

She says oh yum so you can cook huh he says yeah I’m not too bad of one either. She says I can’t wait to find out what you’re making us and eat it of course. Cole smiles at her and asks so you want help She says sure if you don’t mind. He says no I don’t mind Lucy asks so what are we making Cole says I was thinking of spaghetti, mashed potatoes and either corn or green beans for the vegetable. She says yummy that sounds good and then she smiles him Lucy says how about I start the spaghetti and you can start the mashed potatoes. Cole says ok he starts peeling potatoes while Lucy puts water into a pot and put it on the stove to let the water boil.

After browning the hamburger she then puts hamburger, basil, Organo, totomtoe sauce and chopped tomatoes in a skillet. While there cooking lunch Lucy and Cole are talking and laughing just about random things every now and then they give each other kisses. Lucy thinks wow this is an amazing guy and I think I’m falling for him they finished cooking and set the table and eat there lunch they just made. After lunch they go into the living room to watch a movie they watch hope floats Cole made them some popcorn. Lucy is cuddled up next to Cole and he has his arm wrapped around her while there watching the movie then he lifts her chin up and kisses her on the lips and she kisses him back deeply and passionately.

After the movie is over Cole asks Lucy you want to go sit on the porch the sun is getting ready to go down and it looks beautiful from my front porch. Lucy says yes I love to watch the sunset from your porch he helps her up off the couch and they sit on the porch swing with there hands entangled watching the sun set. As the last bit of the sun goes down Cole gives her a kiss on the lips. Then he says well the stars will be out soon I’ll go get us a blanket and we’ll go out into the field and watch the stars and I’ll bring us something to snack on while were out there.
