Chapter 1

Lucy Evans owns a small business a coffee shop she sometimes works in it. Lucy is 21 she’s 5’5 she has brown hair with blonde streaks that alittle pass her shoulders. She weights 145 pounds and is medium built with grayish colored eyes. Lucy’s afraid she’ll never find a man she’ll fall in love and have him love her back. She’d had her bad relationships but love always seemed to be the problem in them. She hopes someday she’ll find a man that she’ll love and he’ll love her.

One day when Lucy is working in the coffee shop a rugged handsome man comes in she’d never seen him in there before. She says to him what can I get you stranger he says a black coffee. As she brings him his coffee he tells her my name is Cole Malcolm. Then she asks him you new in town he says yeah how’d you know then he says I just bought a ranch here maybe 2 miles outside of town. She says I wasn’t for sure but I know I’d never seen you in here before.

Cole is also 21 his 5’9 has short jet-black hair. He weights maybe 175 has muscular build with dazzling hazel eyes that kinda draw you in. Lucy isn’t sure what to think of Cole yet she thins maybe she likes him. Everyday after that day Cole come to her coffee shop in the morning and they usually talk for awhile. Cole comes to the coffee shop just so he can talk to Lucy and see her face he has really come to like her. He says well I got to get going see yea around Lucy says yeah see you he leaves. Serenity walks over to her and says I think someone is in love Lucy says I don’t think so were just friends his a nice guy Serenity laughs and says yeah right you two talk alot when his in here.

Serenity is 20 she’s 5’7 she has reddish brownish colored hair that’s mid ways down her back she weights 150 pounds and has a medium muscular build with blue-green eyes. Serenity works in the coffee shop with Lucy their best friends Lucy can tell pretty much anything to Serenity. Serenity has always been there for Lucy the same can be said about Lucy being there for Serenity. One day Cole walks into the coffee shop orders a black coffee and a muffin then asks Lucy if she’d like to go to the movies and have dinner with him tomorrow. Lucy says sure I’d like that sounds like fun he says ok it’s a date I’ll pick you up around 6 PM. The next day Cole is right on time to pick Lucy up Lucy is wearing blue jeans and a black T-shirt with her hair up in a ponytail.

Cole is wearing jeans and a light blue T-shirt first they go to dinner at the local diner they talk and get to know each other better they talk and laugh. Then they go to the movies and they watch Iron man he gets them popcorn and something to drink and he gets her some candy. After the movies he takes her home while there at her door he asks her have you ever been horse back riding she says yeah I have before but I haven’t been in a long time why. He says cause I was wondering if you’d like to go horse back riding with me sometime Lucy says sure I’d like to go sometime. The next day Lucy is at work and she gets a flower delivery she gets some red roses with a card that says I had a wonderful time last night I hope to do it again soon singed Cole.

Cole comes into the coffee shop he had a big grin on his face Lucy brings him his coffee he asks so did you like the roses I sent you. She says yes I loved them red roses are my favorites so you Cole asks her so you want to go horse back riding this afternoon she says sure I’d like that I’ll ask Serenity if she’d cover my shift for me. Serenity tells her sure I’ll cover your shift but you owe me and I want to hear all the juicy details. Cole picks Lucy up at her house she’s dressed in blue jeans and a tank top with her hair in braids. He drives them to his ranch he gets two horses out of their stalls put saddles on them. Cole helps Lucy up into the saddle on the horse then he gets up on his. They ride around his ranch he tells her you see that tree over there Lucy says yeah he says well stop there and have lunch she says yeah sure sounds good to me race you there.
