A Conquering Love

That day started like any other day Jean got up and made breakfast for her family. Which consists of her husband Connor and there two kids one boy and one girl There names are Kyle and Emma. Kyle is 3 and Emma is only almost a year old. After breakfast Connor and Jean drop the kids off at jean’s parent’s house. They watch the kids while there at work.

Jean is 25 she has dark red hair that is down to her mid back. She’s 5’4 and weights about 140 pounds she has brown eyes she has an average build. Connor is 28 he has brown short hair his about 5’5 and weights like 155 pounds he has a muscular build he has blue eyes.

On the way back from work they got into a bad accident the pavement was wet and a drunk driver in the other line overcorrected and ran into there car. Connor and Jean ended up wrapping there black blazer around a phone pole. Connor was badly injured Jean wasn’t hurt so badly. They were rushed to a hospital to be checked out and to get medical attention. Later on into the night Connor slipped into a coma.

Jean prayed that he wouldn’t die because she didn’t know how she would live without him in her life. She loves Connor so much while Jean was getting checked out to make sure she was alright she found out she was pregnant. She found this out cause some of the tests she took but the baby wasn’t harmed when they had the accident. Jean is only like a month along she didn’t even know she was pregnant.

Connor has been in a coma for 2 months now Jean comes and visits him everyday hoping and praying he’ll come back to her. She hopes that her love will bring him back to her cause she wants to spend the rest of her life with him. She knew she only wanted to spend the rest of with him since she first met him. Jean is now 3 months pregnant and she’s scared that Connor will never get to meet this child or get to see his other children grow up.

Another month passes by and Connor wakes up to find Jean asleep in a chair by his bed. Connor says hey girl could you tell me why I’m in a hospital? Jean wakes up when she hear his voice say this and she starts to cry and she give him a hug and a kiss. He tells her not to cry she tells him why his in the hospital. She say I’m sorry for crying I thought I’d lost you and she says I have some wonderful news to tell you were going to be having another baby.

Connor is very joyful that they will be having another baby and he couldn’t believe he’d been in a coma for 4 months. Connor thinks to himself that his missed so much in those 4 months that he was in that stupid coma. Connor couldn’t believe that Jean had stayed by his side the whole time he was in the coma. She stayed by his side because she didn’t want to leave him because if he woke up she wanted to be there to welcome him back. The kids had stayed at Jeans parents while he was in the coma. After Connor was released from the hospital they picked up the kids.

Connor has now been out of his coma for 2 months now and his pretty much got back into the swing of things in his life. He’ll be taking Jean to the doctor in a few days for a check up they’ll will be finding out what they will be having this time. Jean hadn’t done this yet because she wanted Connor with her when she did this. So they had just got out of the doctor’s office they found out they will be having another baby girl. Oh and she also found out she is about 6 months long now.

She already knew that though but the doctor was just telling her in case she didn’t know. Jean’s pregnancy has been good except the normal pregnancy symptoms you know nausea and all that. Jean considers herself very lucky that she didn’t lose the baby because of the accident.

Jean has been so happy since Connor has come out of the coma cause his been there for her while she is pregnant. She doesn’t know what she would have done if she would have lost him and had to have this baby on her own. Connor and her haven’t discussed what there going to name the baby yet but that’s ok they will in do time. Jean has though of some names that she would like to name her baby girl since she knows that is what she is having. Either Shelby or Monica or maybe some other name she would talk with Connor before she made a for sure choice.

So Jean is now in her 7 month or pregnancy she’s going to be taking her maturity leave in like a month or so from work. The maturity leave where she works is like a few months. Both Jean and Connor work at the same place it’s a lawyer’s office Jean is a secretary and Connor is a lawyer. They both make pretty good money at where they work and they both love there jobs.

The 7^th month has been good Jean is now at the end of it about to go into the 8 month of pregnancy and she’ll be on maturity leave from work. So one day on there way home from work ask Connor so what do you think we should name the baby? Connor is silent for a little while so Jean says why you so silent you can’t think of a name you want to name our daughter and he says no I’m thinking of a few to tell you. Then he say got it how about Chloe or Billie or something else I have other one’s in mind too. He turn to her says what do you want to name her and she says while I was thinking of either Shelby or Monica but I like the name Chloe even better.

Connor says whoa you like the name Chloe that I picked and she yeah I think it’s a really pretty name. So Connor says so that’s what you would like to name our daughter and she says yes. So Jean has now in her 9 month of pregnancy her due date is coming up very soon. Tonight there all going to having dinner with her parents and his parents there coming to there house tonight to have dinner together. After dinner they all go into the living room and sat and talk for awhile there all talking and having a good time when all the sudden Jean’s water breaks when there talking. So they rush her to the hospital and after 18 hours of labor there little baby daughter was born 8 pounds and 7 ouches with blue eyes and her name is Chloe Shelby O’Connell which is what Jean and Connor’s last name is.

Connor and Jean now have 3 beautiful children 2 girls and one boy they love so much. One day when Connor is visiting Jean in the hospital he asks her how many more kids she wants she says I don’t know do you want more kids. He says yeah maybe one more and she says I don’t know I’m kinda happy with what we got. Connor says ok I guess 3 kids will do and he says I love you and our little family so much. Jean says I love you and our family so much too. I still don’t know what I would of done if I would have lost you in that car accident. Jean admits something to him I think it was mine and your love that brought you out of that coma.

Jean says to him you know how they say love conquers all I’m a true believer of that now because I believe our love has conquered quite a bit. Like the coma and the car accident so much other things in our loves I love you you’re my soul mate you’re my one and only the one I want to spend the rest of my days with. About a few weeks or so after Jean had Chloe she was released from the hospital. Jean was happy to be home when she got home she gave the kids big hugs and kisses cause she missed them so much when she was in the hospital.

Jean got to stay home with the kids 2 months after Chloe was born she almost didn’t want to go back to work cause she didn’t want to leave Chloe and she didn’t really want to leave Kyle or Emma either. Its been a month since Jean had Chloe she’s starting to get back into the routine of a working mom she doesn’t really like having to leave her kids at her parents so they can take care of them while she and Connor at work but she’ll get use to it again.

Tonight Connor is taking Jean to a nice restaurant for there anniversary they’ve been married for 7 years. Jean come out of there room wearing a spaghetti strip black dress with her favorite shawl around her shoulders. Connor’s mouth drops open when he see her and he tell her you look so beautiful tonight just like the first night we met. She tell him thank you, you really think so and he says yeah and she says well you look very nice yourself he was wearing black slacks with a nice dress shirt he looked very handsome.

During dinner they talked and talked all through dinner Connor ask her did you ever think we’d be here 7 years ago she says no I didn’t think I would but this is everything that I wanted. Connor says I’m glad I ran into you at college and she says so do I she laughs yeah we literally ran into each other I remembered you helped pick up my books and then we talked for a long time after that and we exchanged numbers. You know I never thought I’d hear from you again but I did the next day and you asked me to dinner and it went on from there. We got married and now we have 3 amazing kids.

Connor says so you ready to home now and she says yes. When they got home Jean says oh that’s right the kids are staying at your parents house tonight I’d almost forgot. Connor says yeah that’s right we have the house all to ourselves tonight and Jean says oh is that right now and Connor kisses her and she kisses him back and there kiss deepens and Connor starts kissing her on the neck and mouth and just about everywhere that gives her pleasure. Then Connor picks her up and carries her to there room where the make sweet love through the night and they fall asleep in each others arms.

The next day they wake up Connor tells Jean I’ll make breakfast and bring it to you Jean makes a pleased face and says breakfast in bed huh Connor smiles at her and laughs and says yes breakfast in bed this morning. Jeans says I like that. After breakfast they go and pick the kids up from his parent’s house. Then they all spent the day together because its Connor and Jean’s day off from work so they went to the park. They all had a blast and Emma said her first word today momma it was so adorable.

Today is Chloe 1^st birthday it was a great day they had a little birthday party for her it was all family but that was ok. We helped her blow out her candles. Kyle is 4 now and Emma is almost 2. Connor says to Jean you know our little girls are only almost a year apart from each other Jean says I know that I’m kinda of afraid of when they hit there teenage years cause there so close in age they might fight a lot cause how close they are in age but we’ll deal with that when that day come. She leans over and kisses Connor and tells him I love you Connor says I love you too.

Jean says this has been such a good day our youngest in now 1 years old it seems like it was just yesterday.

Connor tells Jean I remember what you told me in the hospital after Chloe was born you said you said you know how they say love conquers all I’m a true believer of that now cause I believe our love has conquered quite a bit. Like the coma and the car accident so much other things in our lives I love you you’re my soul mate you’re my one and only one I want to spend the rest of my days with. I believed you because I felt the same way and I still do.

Jean is so happy to hear this and she says oh honey that is so sweet she has tears in her eyes as she says this to him. Connor give her a smile and then he hugs and kisses her and he tells her I love you so much Jean and she says I love you so much too. Jeans tells him I don’t know what my life would have been like if I had never met you you’re the best thing that happened to me your what made my life complete and wonderful. Connor says I feel exactly the same way about you and no matter what happens in our lives. I know that I’ll always feel this way about you and I hope you’ll feel the same about me Jean says yes you know I will.

Jean tells him I’m glad you remembered what I told you after Chloe was born that means a lot to me. Connor says yeah I remembered what you said because it meant a lot to me and I’m glad it made you happy that I remembered. Connor says you know even when I kids grow up and move away and get married and have kids of there own I will still love you and remember what you said the day Chloe was born.

One night when Jean was making dinner Connor asks do you remember that first year we were married. Jean laughs and says oh yes I remember it was a disaster because we were living in a small apartment and we were still going to college you were getting ready to graduate. We were both working part time jobs we were barely able to pay all the bills. But we still loved each other very much even though we were having some problems.

Jean says I also remember 2 years after that when I got pregnant with Kyle we had just bought this house because a year before that you got the job that you have now and we were able to afford a house finally. Connor says we have so many memories together some good times and bad times but you got to take the bad with good right. Jean says right cause how would you know what’s good without the bad but there still good memories to me cause there a time with you. She says anytime with you is a good time.

Connor says looks like dinner is ready and Jean says yep you want to go get the kids ready for dinner and he says sure I can do that. They all set down to a nice home made dinner. After dinner Connor says honey dinner was great tonight and Jean says thanks. Jean learned to cook on her own he read cook books and practiced and finally was able to cook a good home made dinner. She learned this in the first few years Connor and her were married she did this when Connor was at work and she finally got the recipe were it tasted great.

So Connor and Jean had been though a lot together but there still going strong after all these years. Jeans sometimes wonders how on earth did we make it though all of that and then she says to herself of course our love got us though that and with the support of each other is how we got through it and got us to where we are today. Connor says to Jean its amazing what a couple can go through and still be standing strong for it and Jean say yes it is its quite amazing if you really think about it.

On the way to work the next day they were listening to the radio and there song come on the radio I can love you like that by John Michael Montgomery. Jean turn to him and says this our song do you remember when we first danced to this and Connor says of cource I remember and I also remember we had it played at our wedding as the frist song we danced to a married couple. Jean says yeah that was great.

That night when they went to bed Connor stayed up alittle bit after she went to bed cause he had a court case the next day and he was getting ready for it and making sure he had everything prepared for it. He walked into there room and saw that Jean had fallen asleep reading a book he thought to himself she look so beautiful when she’s asleep and dreaming. He just stood there for alittle bit watching her sleep and thinking to himself that he was so lucky to have her in his life. He got ready for bed and marked her place in her book and put it on the night stand and kissed her goodnight on the forehead and then he fell asleep.

The next morning when she woke up she asked Connor did I fall asleep reading again and he said yes but I marked the page the book was opened to I figured that’s the page you were on. She says yeah it was thanks he says your welcome. Connor steches and say oh man today is going to be a long day cause I got court and a few meeting today I’ll be glad when I can come home today. She smiles at him and says yeah I know but think of this way at least we have tomorrow off and he says yeah that’s a good way to look at it.

When they got into the car to go home for the day Jean asks so how’d everything go did you win your court case. He says yeah I did and the meeting with some new clients went well too so it wasn’t as bad of day as I thought it would be. Still always glad when the end of the day come cause then I get to go home with you. Later on that night Jean and Connor look on the kids that they put to sleep just a few hours before. Jean says to Connor they look so sweet and innocence when there dreaming don’t you think. Connor says yeah there adorable when there asleep but there also cute when there awake.

Connor says I just hope they stay this cute for a little while at least and Jean tells him they will but they’ll eventually will grow up like everyone does and we can teach them many things. Then she says oh my Kyle will be starting school in a few years our first starting school wow that will be a sad and happy day. Connor says yes it will be but it’ll be another day we won’t forget you know. She says I know but still it’ll be sad. Then Connor says you know we could always have another one that way it would be awhile before that one went to school.

Jean says I don’t know 4 kids seems like a lot to handle lets just have these 3 for now ok maybe in a few years ok and Connor says ok maybe in a few years down the road. Then Connor says there asleep what do you say we go to bed ourselves and she says sure and then Connor kisses her and they go back to there room and fall asleep in each others loving arms. So this has been the story of a conquering love I guess it’s true what they say love does conquering well in this couple’s story it does anyway.
