I was listening to "Hero/Heroine" by Boys Like Girls when my phone vibrated.What the hell?I thought we were done waring.
Maybe it's Liz.Or Jix is just checkin' up on you.Joey said boredly.
Maybe.Wait a second.Where's Jimmy?And Mickey?I don't hear anything.
Jimmy is asleep.I'm sure.Mickey is with Missy.
That's good.Anyways,back to my text.
I flipped open my phone.It was Jix.I read the first line and almost screamed.Jix has been kidnapped?NO!I quickly wrote down the plate number and called Liz.
"Liz?Did you get it?"
"Yeah.What do we do?"
"Exactly what he told us to.we calmly go to the cops."
"Okay.I'll pick you up."
"K.Bye."I shut my phone and walked down the stairs.
"MOM!I'm goin out with Liz.I might stay over I don't know."
"Okay.Have fun."Yeah right.Have fun.If only she knew.
I missed it.What's happening?Milly asked,worried.
Jix has been kidnapped.Me and Liz are going to the police.
Oh Shit!Okay just remember clam cool collected.And did he send the plate number?
Yeah.It's 666 OMG.

Here's Liz.Oh god.
Just take a deep breath.You'll be fine.
I jumped into Liz's car before she was fully stopped.She didn't say a word,just drove.We were at the police station in less than no time.
"Oh hi Liz.Stevie.What can I do for you two today?"Micksi,the clerk asked.Small towns.Everyone knew everyone.
"We need to speak to Joe.Now."Liz said calmly.
"Okay.He's in his office."She smiled.
"Thanks."We ran down to the officer's office and burst through the door.
"Joe.We have a problem."He looked up to see me shaking slightly.
"What is it Stevie?What's wrong?"He stood.
"Jix is missing.He was kidnapped."
"What?If this is a joke"
"Joe!He texted both of us.Look!"I showed him my phone.
"I don't know about this."
"It's Jix.You know he wouldn't lie.Please Joe.Just run the numbers.See what comes up.Please."He sighed.
"You're right.I'll check.What're the numbers?"He sat at his computer and pulled up the right screen.
"666 OMG."
He typed and clicked rapidly.He waited for a second,then looked up at us.
"This is officially a kidnapping case.That car has been reported stolen.From th city."
"City people stole a car and Jix?Why?"
"I don't know.I'll get his mom.You two stay here.I'll get some other started looking for him.Don't worry girls,we'll find him."
Somehow,I didn't believe him.
