  "Don't worry,I'm not scared."I said.Stevie exhaled deeply.
  "Thank god.I don't know what I'd do without you."She smiled,obviously calmed.
  "You could thinktalk."I joked.She smiled,then got a serious look on her face.
  "It wouldn't be as interesting without you to think about."
  "Aww,you thinktalk about me?I thought I was special."She leaned across the table and pecked me on the cheek.When she leaned away,I saw a flicker of worry in her eyes.It immediatly went away,but it was still there,locked away.The fear.
  "Don't worry,Stevie.I won't leave you.And I won't tell anyone,I swear."
  "I know.I just haven't done this before.Liz was with me when my mom told me.So I really didn't have to tell her.It's a little awkward,you know."
  "Yeah,I know.But it's okay.You don't have to worry 'bout me runnin'."
  "Okay."
  "Let's go.My mom's probably wondering where I am."
  "Right."We threw away our trash and said bye to the kid the guy behind the counter.I was opening my car door when I realized Stevie wasn't doing the same.I looked to find her staring at me,a single tear escaping her eye.
  "What's wrong?"I asked immediatly.
  "Nothing.Hey,Jix?"She said,hesitating.
  "Yeah,babe?"I looked into her eyes,worried as ever.
  "Thank you."I sighed with relief.
  "No problem."I smiled and we got into the car.I drove her home and arrived at my house 20 minutes later.My mom glared at me for being late.I just shrugged and went to my room.

 That night was like any other,but completly different.I was in my room,listening to Sixx am after an hour long text war with Stevie.I couldn't believe she was crazy.I mean,actually carzy.Mostly,I was surprised at how much more it made me love her.I sat on my bed,humming along to "Life Is Beautiful",snapping open and close the small black box in my hand.I stopped and opened the box,staring at the ring inside.We were graduating in two weeks, and once Stevie and I were away in Colorado for college,I was proposing.She would be mine,forever.I stood,closing the box and setting it back in my drawer where Mom couldn't find it.Where no one could find it.

That's when someone's arm clapsed around my neck and a hand clamped down on my mouth.

I looked up to see a tall man in black.He was grabbing the ring from my drawer and smiling evily.The guy who had grabbed me was whispering in my ear.
  "Your comin' with us kid.Don't make a sound or we'll go after your girl too.And we won't be as nice to her."Stevie! I nodded and let him swing me out of my first story window and carry me across the yard to a car.They threw me into the trunk and got in the front.They hadn't tied me up or anything.
 I slowed my breathing to keep from hyperventilating.I grabbed me phone from my pocket and started texting Stevie and Liz.

               Girls,I'm being kidnapped.Don't text back.This ain't a joke.You can
                   trust me.Go to the police and tell them,CALMLY!!!Please help.
                  I'm in the trunk of a black sedan.Plate #: 666 OMG Hurry!
