 "Cici,it's going to be fine.We will just talk.There will be too many people there for either of us to make a scene.Your mom is here and so is your sister.It will be fine.I promise."I knew it didn't make any difference.I'd said that 10 times already tonight.She worries so much.
 "I know Shaun.He's just so dangerous.I am too worried to be clam right now."She hugged me.I could feel silent tears rolling off her eyes and onto my t-shirt.This was hard.I had to leave now,or I wouldn't be able to leave her here.I let go and said good-bye,feeling her eyes on me as I left her house.I wish you wouldn't worry.I also wish I didn't have to do this.I thought as I drove into a parking space.I saw Alex's car beside mine and got out quickly.Alex came outside then,acting like nothing was different.
   "Shaun!"He exclaimed,"Buddy!Good to see you.Glad you came."He stuck a paper in my hand and walked back in.It said:
    Change of plans.Meet me outback.It will be only me.See ya,Shaunie Boy.
   I went to the back of the shop,expecting a lie and a group of guys waiting to kill me.But Alex hadn't lied,First time for everything,it was just him.
  "Shaun,I made a mistake.I didn't know what I was doing."
  "What are you talking about?"I played dumb,trying to not lead him on.
  "I hurt Cici.And you.And me.I had no idea you loved Cici."I caught my breath.How could anyone know that?"I also didn't know she loved you back.I'm a complete fool,ya know?You're a good friend,not telling her,leading her on.Too bad she loves you too.So,I'm gonna break up with her.Get you together.All nice like."I smelled something as he said words that must be lies.He made Cici go back to him by force,he wouldn't just let her go.
  "You're drunk.Go home Alex.Unless you can coherently tell me what you reall wanted to say to me."I turned to leave.
  "I know you know."I stopped in my tracks.
  "What do I know Alex?"
  "That I beat Cici.That I bruise and cut her.She shouldn't try to leave me."I just left shaking my head like he was speaking like an idiot."You Know I Hurt Her!!!!!And your both gonna pay for it."

 "What happened?"Cici asked when I stepped in.
 "He knows.And he says we shall pay for it.Now it's time to worry."
 "What are we gonna do Shaun?We can't stop him."The tears slid slowly down her cheek.
 "Cici,I am going to make this work.We'll be okay."
 "Alex can't be stopped."
