I walked into my homeroom,almost running,trying to escape Alex's gaze.He had been waiting for me at school, like always. But today there was something different about him;his eyes were dark,cold. I t made scared.I hoped I'd mananged to avoid him that morning.I jumped when I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"Cici,it's okay.It's just me."I took a deep breath and turned to face Shaun.He was so worried about me,I could see it in his face.
"Shaun.Thank god.Did you see Alex this morning?"I asked anxiously.
"Yea.Don't worry.He didn't see you.But something's off."The teacher came in then.Shaun took his place in front of me,shielding me from the door.Always protective.I love you.I thought as we started the lecture on Chinese History.
Half-way through class,Alex came and stood at the door,searching the room for me.When his eyes found Shaun's,he stepped back,surprised about something.He said he needed to give Shaun something for his brother.Alez must have thought this out,knowing this teacher wouldn't know Shaun's brother was 6 years old.He set it on the desk,glared at Shaun and left.But not before searching for me once again.I had pretended to drop something the entire time for a reason to duck.
After class.taking the long way to 2nd period,Shaun and I read the note.Shaun,It said:
Come to the coffee shop at 6:30 tonight.I want to have a chat.Cici won't be there.Be sure of that.Understand?Good.6:30,don't be late.

"Does that mean he knows?"I asked.This scared me more than the look on Alex's face this morning.Shaun shook his head.
"I don't know.Guess we'll have to find out.At 6:30 tonight.Breath Cici.It's gonna be okay."We reached the door of the classroom.
"How could either of us know that?"I walked in and sat behind Alex.He turned to look as Shaun sat behind me.
