Aly's view
I stumbled out of bed with a massive headache.I remembered the popcorn war,drinking with my new boss and his sister,and coming home.But there was something tugging at the corner of my mind.A memory I couldn't or didn't want to remember. Weird I thought as I stumbled to the kitchen.I raided the droors looking for my hangover headache medicine.
"What are yo looking for?" I heard Danny ask,his voice echoing in my head.
"Here we go."I said finding it."Not so loud,hangover here."I took the meds and felt instantly better.Then the memory broke through the inadvertant barrier I had created in my mind."Which doesn't only pertain to speaking after a night of drinking on my part."I said,heading for the bathroom.Danny is a huge jerk.Now I feel sorry that I kissed him.Shit! I thought.After I was ready for work,I grabbed my purse,a breakfat bar and my keys.I headed for the door,not saying a word.
"It wasn't planned.The sex I mean."Danny said,watching me leave.
"Never is."I replied shutting the door.I stopped after shutting the door and slid down to ground.I pulled out my cell and called Minnie.
Minnie's View
Ring!Ring!My phone was going off.I grabbed it and saw it was Aly.
"Hey.How ya feelin?"I asked kindly.
"Fine I guess.Can you come get me?"She asked.It sounded like she had been silently crying.
"'Course.Meet me outside your building."
"Thanx Min."She hung up.I am gonna kill Danny.I told him to go easy on her.Not make her silently break down outside the door.He doesn't even know what happened with her when Kasy died.She may have seemed fine to him,but she wasn't.She cut herself back.I hope she doesn't do this again.I couldn't handle it.Not then.Not now.I thought.
"That asshole."I said turning into Aly's parking lot.She got in silently.I hugged her and she just hugged me back.
"I'll kick his ass if you want me to."I suggested,trying to cheer her up.It worked.She started laughing.
"No.You don't have to.Unless you want to help me do it."She replied smiling.We were still laughing when we walked in the building.
"Hey,"I said seriously as we stepped into the empty elevator.
"Yeah?"
"Promise me you won't hurt yourself again.I couldn't take it."
"Never again.Can I stay at your place for awhile?"
"Yeah.Of course you can."I said.We stepped out of the elevator.We saw Charlie and Hi.
"Hello Minnie.Alyssa.
"Aly."She said,looking at him.There was a short silence.
"Great movie last might huh?"I said.We started laughing.
"See ya later Charlie."We said walking away.
