  "Hey Minnie!"I said as I walked into the building.I am a photagrapher for advertisements.Minnie,my best friend,is also a photagrapher here.
  "You seem happy today.Have a big contract or somethin' come through for you?" Minnie asked,studying my face carefully.
  "No.It isn't a contract.It's somethin at home."I replied with a smile.Minnie was thouroughly confused now.I winked at her.She understood that meant I'd tell her later.she seemed excited.I was excited to tell her,as well.

  At lunchtime,Minnie and I went to the cafe accross the street.We ordered our sndwhiches and some coffee.After the waiter left,Minnie basically attacked me.
  "So...What's up tell me please!!!!!!!"She was leaning accross the table so she would catch every word I said.
  "Last night,Danny told me how Kasy had really died.I went home-Okay you need to back up a little."She leaned back into her chair and apoligized.
 "I went home and got out the bottle of vodka.Remember from last month?Yeah well,I got it open and had two shots when Danny walked in.I had left him alone with no ride.Well He comes in,starts yelling and-"
I paused as the waiter brought us our food.
 "And what?Come on,Alyssa,Don't leave me hangin here."Minnie said.
 "Okay,okay.Calm down.I shut him up."I took a bite of my sandwhich cautiously.Minnie's eyes looked like they were going to pop out of her head.
 "How did you shut him up?"Minnie asked,grabbing her coffee.
 "I shut him by,,,,,,,kissing him."I looked away for a few seconds.When I looked back I was surprised by Minnie's face.She was smiling at me.It was a smile so big,I swear I could see all of her white teeth.
 "What?"I asked,still stunned by her reaction.
 "You like him,don't you?I knew it!You like Danny!"She said triumphantly.
 "I do not."
 "Then why'd you kiss him?"
 "I don't know why I kissed him.And made out with him...a lot."
 "Oh,what?Made out with him!You mean like?"She started making out with the air.I smacked her arm.
 "Yes like that,ya wackjob."
 "You so like him.You didn't like sleep with him did you?"
 "No I didn't sleep with him.We stopped after awhile and then I slapped him.Then I went to bed.He thought I was drunk the whole time."
 "He thought you were drunk.Wow.Let me guess,then this morning you told him you were not drunk and you are so happy because his reaction was funny and you finally kissed the guy you like right?"
 "Yes.Shoot!"Minnie got up and started doing her "in your face" dance.She sat down and drank some of her coffee.She was so happy about this.
 "You are so weird!"I said after awhile.
 "Yea so.You are too.And you kissed Danny."
 "Get over it.Okay so I told him we had to talk about it after I got home.What should I say?"
 "I don't know.But make it good and tell him you love him."
 "Whatever I am not saying that!Let's get back to work."
