Help {ch. 2}

Horror Created on 2-28-08 Views(71) Story Rating G

      I slowly opened my eyes, unaware of what had happened. My vision was still very blurry. Intense pains surged through my body; coming from my neck and thigh. I started to massage the back of my neck. "What?" I thought . "Is that stiches?" I said to myself.

       Then, memories flooded back into my head. And for the first time, I relized I was hanging from chains. I thought of my parents, and what was waiting for me in the future. Am I going to die? Will I see my family again?

       My adrenaline was pumping furiously. To my distgust, I smelled seared flesh. My gag reflexes started to react. I looked around. There was other shackles, but none was occupied. Something recently had happened to the person that belonged to the chains beside me. I could tell by the disturbance in the dirt, and the fresh dripping blood, dripping from the cuffs.

      All the sudden a heavy iron door swung open in front of me. I expected to see the same creature that had abducted me. Instead there was nothing. Nothing at all. Not even a breeze. Then, my chains released. They fell on my head; making my current headache worse. I stood up straight. It was my chance to escape. SLIT...SLASH. Something had sliced my cheeks open(not all the way). I wished I would have passed out, but I did not.

      More small cuts appeared all over my body. It was as if "it" was playing with me. I could not avoid the abuse, because what ever it was, was invisible. I endured the pain, then ran out of the chamber following the tracks on the ground.

      There was another iron door up ahead. There was lambent light around the edges. I swung open the door. To my suprise there was a little old lady there. I ran close to her for help.  I noticed she was feasting on sewer rat that was half way dead. I looked into her eyes. They were eyes of torture and pain. "About time." the wrinkled mouth wispered. "You are all bones, not much meat" the hag added. I said nothing. "JACK!, come take the prisoner back to his cell. He is not on the menu til tomorrow."

      "You sick bitch. How dare you. Go to hell!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. All she did was wink. The door across the room swung open.  A hunch-backed man stepped through.(assuming this was Jack) He came towards me, but with little speed. I ran back through the door of which I came. I held my breathe as I sprinted through the corridors. Cackles from the hag echoed all around me...
