Memories ch. 35

Mikey didn’t sound too excited about moving to Hawaii, but if my dad and I had to move, I wouldn’t want to either.

"Oh my dad is looking for a job and house in Hawaii"

"Really? Where?"

"Im not sure"

"Can you ask him? It would be really great if I knew someone where I lived, especially if they were you." I blushed a little.

"Yea, sure, I’ll ask when I see him." It was quiet for a moment before I had to ask. "Mikey, where would you move to if your dad got that promotion?" I knew it was none of my business but if he did move and I did too. I did want to know someone where I was moving to.

"Um, I think my dad said, we would move to...-"

I began to laugh quietly till he shot a look at me which made me laugh harder.

He lifted his eye brow and asked, "what?"

"Nothing," I was still laughing.

"Come on, tell me," he started, "please"

"You already forgot what your dad told you/" I said smiling.

"Yea...Wait! I remember now it was like Rich-something"

"Richmond?"

"Yea!"

I just smiled, not only because I succeeded in guessing what town he meant. Not only for his cute expression, but to finally know where he would move to.

"How’d you know," he asked.

"Well because my dad said we’re going there to look for a house"

"That’s great!" he said lunging toward me and giving me a hug. I hugged him back with a smile. He started sniffing my hair.

"What are you doing?"

"Smelling," he said smiling a crooked smile that made me smile too.

"Smelling me?"

"Yep"

"Why?"

"Because you smell nice, and I like it"

I felt myself blush again.

"Thanks"

"Your welcome, my lady"

"Your what?" I said playfully nudging his arm.

"My lady," he said nudging me back.

"Hey, we don’t use ‘my lady’ anymore"

"Alright, fine, how bout ‘my love’?"

I bursted out laughing, ‘my love’ wasn’t any better than ‘my lady’.

"No, not that either"

He leaned in close and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I could feel my cheeks turning red, I just hoped he didn’t notice. Did he?

"Sam, I really like you." Apparently he didn’t notice me blushing, but while I looked at him, I saw a him blush slightly.
