Memories ch. 33

"Good," he still had that smile on.

"Why is that good?" I playfully nudged him.

He laughed, "Because I say so"

"Ok, you’re the boss," I said sarcastically.

"Oh, your gonna get it now!"

"No! Please!" I squealed as he reached down to my sides and started tickling me.

He was smiling the whole time he tickled me until after he was satisfied, then he stopped. I immediately tried to gain my breath back. After two minutes I was able to relax again and I had my normal breathing back.

"Your really nice," I said sarcastically again.

"I know, I know, thanks," he said with a smile.

"Sure," I pushed his arm off the arm of the seat where it had been put after he tickled me.

"Hey that’s not nice," he stuck his tongue out in my direction.

I couldn’t help but laugh and then turned my view to look out the window. I saw white puffy clouds float by. I turned my head to look to the right but again just clouds. We had already flown above the area where the birds flew, and all was left were clouds.

"See anything?" Mikey asked from behind me. I jumped a little, not expecting him to speak.

"Except clouds, no"

"Oh," he came up behind me and peered over my shoulder, leaning on my back as he did so.

"Excuse me, your leaning on me-," I said while looking up at him.

"Look!" I turned back to the window to try to see what he told me to look at.

"What? Where?"

"Over there, see it?"

"Where?" He moved my head directing me to look at a cloud.

He started laughing. Realizing he tricked me to believing there was something worth while to look at, I nudged him in the stomach.

"Ow, what was that for?"

"You know what that was for"

He stuck his tongue at me again and smiled. In return this time, I stuck my tongue back at him. I couldn’t help but laugh at how childish we were being. Even more so Mikey’s reaction t0 me sticking my tongue at him. We broke out in laughter after that. He leaned over and hugged me, which surprised me but I returned the hug anyway. As I did so he began to whisper in my ear.

"Im really glad I tapped your shoulder"

"Im not," I replied with the same softness in his voice.

"Really?" His facial expression changed immediately to a small frown.

"No, I was kidding, Im really glad I meet you too"

"Good," He said simply.

"Only good?" I was playing around but he changed and became serious.

"Naw, fantastic really, I’ve only known you for a little while and already I like you"

"What?"

"You heard me, I already like you"

Damn, what did I do? What had made him like me? What was I going to do now? I didn’t know what to say or do. I knew I didn’t want to hurt Mikey but I couldn’t say I liked him back. To me Mikey was just a really good friend, I liked him too but I couldn’t say that.
