Memories ch. 32

~Back to airplane scene~

I woke up and turned over to Mikey who was looking at me with a concerned face. When I started to turn over, he began to smile and a soft smile spread across his face.

"Hey," I said with a quiet whisper.

"Hey, how you feeling?" he asked.

"Fine, I had a flashback is all"

"A flashback?" He asked confused.

"Yea, you know, when you remember something from the past"

"Oh, yea, so what was the flashback about?"

"My mom," I said with a smile.

"Oh so it was a good flashback, according to your smile"

"It was nice remembering my mom and what she told me before she died"

"What did she tell you?"

"She told me she loved me and my dad"

"Oh, that must of been sad, right?"

"Yea, it was, but im glad she told me"

"Me too," he said smiling again.

"Thanks"

He was being nice to me, he was a good friend, Mikey.

"No need to thank me. What was your mother like?"

"She was the best mom anybody could ever have. She treated me like a princess and always played with me. She was a fun mom."

"Wow, you really like your mom, don’t you?" He said smiling.

"No, I love her"

"Oh, right, I knew that," he chuckled a little bit.

"Yea," I couldn’t help but laugh a little too. "Thanks for asking me about her, you made me remember her more"

"No problem." He stretched out his arms, opening and allowing me to hug him.

"Your really great," I said blushing by accidently telling him, what was on my mind.

"What?" He asked unsure, if he heard correctly.

"I said your really great" We were still hugging each other.

"So are you," he hugged me tighter and brought me closer to him.

When he backed slightly, I backed away too and dropped my arms. He was blushing now, I held back a giggle but he looked so cute when he was blushing. Instead I just smiled at him. The plane ride was long but with Mikey more than half the distance was already gone. He talked to me the whole time and told me personal secrets about himself. Even if he did tell me his embarrassing moment when he had slipped in the hall way with his friends and schoolmates watching him. I did laugh and he did too. I felt real comfortable with Mikey around, and he made the time go by real fast. Making me want the time to stand still. He told me a little about his mom, and his mom like my mom, sounded really nice and I was eager to met her.

"My mom would take me to the park and throw me in the air and catch me again," I said.

He laughed, "wow, too bad you lost your mom, I would of loved to meet her."

"Yea, she was really friendly to my friends," I said smiling.

"Im your friend?" He said with a big smile on his face, It made me smile too.

"Yea, you are"
