Memories ch. 29

"Just wondering," he was smiling bigger.

"Ok"

"You finished?"

"What?"

"You finished your popcorn?"

"Oh yea"

"Do you want more?"

"Ok," I accepted.

"Here," he said.

"Thanks"

He handed me most of the popcorn bag. He reached his hand at the same tiem bumping his hand with mine.

"Sorry," he said smiling again.

"It’s ok"

He didn’t remove his hand from the bag, instead he looked up at me with his blue eyes.

"You have very pretty eyes," he said to me.

"I was thinking the same thing"

"You were?"

"Yea, your eyes are so pretty they’re blue and have a bit of black in them"

"They do?"

"Yes, they do"

"Cool, never noticed"

"You never looked at your eyes before?"

"Not really"

"How about yours?"

"Mine are alright," I said.

"I think they’re beautiful"

"Thanks"

"No problem. They’re a nice shade of green, your eyes."

(Flashback)

Creator of story: When Sam was 4, three months before her mother died.

"Hi mommy" Sam said running towards her mother.

"There’s my little S!" Her mother said pulling her up over her own head. Sam began to giggle in her light blue dress, with her brown hair blowing back.

"Your green eyes are a great shade of color especially with your brown hair"

"Thank you mommy"

"Remind me to thank your dad for giving you, your lovely eyes," Sam’s mother told her while looking at her baby girl.

"Ok mommy"

Her mother put her down. Then walked hand in hand to their house. Lily, Sam’s mother put her to bed and joined Sam’s father in the kitchen.

"John"

"Yea?"

"We are so lucky to have Sam"

"Yes we are," he said smiling.
