Memories ch. 25

"Great! Nice to see you met more kids your age"

"No, well one of them"

"What?"

"Time is our age. Matt and Holly are both ten"

"Oh"

"Yea and they’re going to Hawaii too," I was running out of things to say.

"Cool," he seemed satisfied.

Then I gave him his salad and the sprite that I bought after Tim knocked over the second one. We took our seats and waited to board the plane. Abby was talking to my dad so I just sat there. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and there was this hot guy.

"Yea?" I said sharply.

"Hi, my names Mikey"

"Hi, Mikey, what do you want?"

"Just wanted to talk to you, you seemed bored"

I smiled. "Well I was before."

"What’s your name?"

"Samantha"

"Lovely name Samantha"

"Thanks, most people call me Sam"

"No problem, Samantha"

I didn’t get why he just didn’t call me Sam. It was shorter, and easier to say. That’s not all that was different about him. He seemed very interesting to talk to.

"Well what do you like to do?"

"Mostly hangout or listen to music. What about you?"

"Talk to my friends, watch movies, go to the park, mostly anything. As long as it isn’t boring."

He chuckled, "yea me too."

"Where are you staying in Hawaii?" He asked me, looking away.

"Im staying in Lil Tiki Hotel"

"I am too! I guess I’ll see you again then", he smiled.

That was the end of our conversation for the day. About fifteen minutes later we were allowed to board the plane. Abby found our seats. Dad sat 2 rows infront of us. Tim sat down next to me.

"Hey," he said friendly.

"Hey"

"Ready for the long flight?"

"Yea, I guess"

"What’s on your mind?"

"nothing"

"More like something?"

"No. Not much"

"Ok. You don’t have to tell me"

"Ok"

"You wanted the window seat?" he said looking at me and standing up.

"Ya"
