Memories ch. 16

"It’s okay Sam, but how did it go?"

"It was okay, until he told Abby that I couldn’t see a movie with her because I was talking with him"

"Oh, when did you talk to Abby?"

"30 minutes ago on the phone"

"why don’t u call her up and ask to watch the movie now"

"Good idea, bye"

I picked up my cereal and left to my room. I called Abby and went over her house. She was kind and let me watch my favorite movie "Pirates of the Carribean". During the movie we ate popcorn and talked about going to Hawaii.

"When are you going?"

"In four days"

"Did you tell Richey?"

"No"

"Ooo, u should tell him"

"Why?"

"He is your boyfriend"

"Fine, I’ll tell him the next time I see him which probably will be tomorrow"

"Good, so how long are you going to stay in Hawaii?"

"2 weeks"

"Wow, that’s along time, Im going to miss you"

"My dad said I could bring one person with me, u wanna go?"

"Yes, yes and YES!!!"

"Haha, okay, it will be fun then"

"Yep, I think Richey will be jealous though, instead of him going it will be me"

"Well that’s okay"

"You don’t mean that do you?"

"Kinda," I said sticking out my tongue.

"Haha, be careful or I’ll tell him what you say"

"No, you won’t"

"I know"

"See I knew it"

I started to get up and gather my things.

"Where are you going"

"Home, I need to pack still and so do you"

"Okay, I’ll call you tomorrow"

"K, bye," I said walking out the door. On my way home, I saw Richey cross the road with Tyler. While I was trying to walk fast so I didn’t get notice, Jake saw me and shouted, "Hey Sam, come here". Just great, I thought to myself. I started to walk over to Tyler and he put his hand on my shoulder.

"What are you doing Sam"

"Walking home"

"Oh, do you want us to walk you home?"

"No thanks, I got it"

"Yea, she never wants anything from anyone," Richey says.

"That’s not true"

"It seems that way to us"
