Memories ch. 12

I knew Richard forgot about it, when we were little we used to use it all the time but I had mentioned it recently but he didn’t know what I was talking about so I had changed the subject.

Since I couldn’t see what he was doing upstairs and I didn’t know how long he was going to stay up there I decided to go back home. When I got home dad was waiting by the table.

"Hey Sam, how was your walk?"

"Fine"

"Where’d you go?"

"I went near the bridge"

"What did you do there"

"Nothing, I just sat there"

"Why did you want a walk anyway"

"I don’t know, I just did, I got to get some sleep, bye dad"

"Okay bye," by the time he was done, I was already in my room. I put my pajamas on and got into bed. I fell asleep. The next morning I woke up and I looked at my calendar.

"Yes!"

I had forgotten it was Saturday, I didn’t have to go to school and I wouldn’t have to see Richard. I was starting to get happy when I heard the door bell. I raised to my dad.

"Dad!"

"What?"

"If it’s Richard Im not here"

"Why"

"I don’t want to talk to him right now, please dad, Im not here"

"Okay"

With that I ran into the hallway so I could overhear the conversation and who was it, at the door.

"Hello Richard"

"Hi, Mr. Glass, can I talk to Sam?"

"Sorry, she isn’t home."

"Can you tell me where she is, I really need to talk to her"

"Sorry, I don’t know where she went, I can tell her you came by though"

"Okay, thanks Mr. Glass"

"No problem. Bye."

"Bye"

When I heard the door close, I came out.

"Thanks dad"

" Sam, why didn’t you want to talk to Richard, I thought you liked him or do you not like him anymore?"

"No, I do, I just didn’t feel like talking to anyone right now. Im going to go upstairs, thanks again."

"Sam"

"Yes dad"

"That’s the only time I going to do that, Im not going to keep making up lies for you, okay?"

"I know dad"

"Okay, now go get dressed"

"Okay dad"
