Memories ch. 9

They weren’t at all surprised, just really happy. I was happy too and so was Richard. The day was great until I saw Racheal. She had found out and wasn’t to happy about it. She told me to break up with Richey or that she would make Richey break up with me. I wasn’t worried because I knew that Richey liked me and he wasn’t going to break up with me. The only thing was I didn’t know how Racheal was going to do it.

The rest of the day, I thought about what Racheal had said. Richey was still hugging me a lot and smiling at me, every chance he could. It was different and I was enjoying it alot. During Math, Richey switched seats with Mark who sat on my left. Now Richey was poking my side over and over again.

"Richey stop," I started to laugh.

He stopped when the teacher looked our way. I was still giggling. At the end of the day, Richey came home with me. My dad was home. Suddenly, I was sad, my dad had gotten fired I thought.

"Dad, why are you home?"

"Hello Sammy, Hello Richey, how was your days???

" My day was good, Dad, why are you home??"

"Wait Sammy, how was your day Richey??"

"My day was good too, thanks Mr. Glass."

"That’s good guys"

"Dad.."

"Okay, Okay Sam, I am home because today I got laid-off. They’re wasn’t enough work at the company, so I came back home."

"Oh, so are you going to look for a place to move??"

"Maybe, Sam."

"Okay," I said sadly.

"Sam, do u want to go outside and swim?," Richey asked.

"Yeah, bye dad, see ya later"

"Okay, have fun"

"We will"

When we reached the water, we both dove inside. This time it was warm. I closed my eyes and started to float. While I was floating, I heard the water move around but I thought it was just Richard playing around. It turned out it wasn’t Richard. When I stopped floating, I looked around me, but Richard wasn’t able to be seen.

"Richard"

No answer. So, I continued calling his name.

"Richard"

There was still no answer. I thought to myself, when I find that boy, Im going to get him back.

"Richard," I was getting angry.

"Sam, come over here," I heard him shout, he sounded scared, but I couldn’t see him.

"Where are you?"

"Over here, quick!"

I swam over as fast as I could. Following his voice as he kept talking. When I saw him he was caught in a long vine of sea weed. The water was moving him back and forth too and he couldn’t keep his balance.

"Richard wait a sec"
