black whole for me. Then I thought about the world and how it swirls and stuff, that’s where the swirls came from. I always thought Tyler understood me the best. When there was 5 mins left of class. I started to write a letter to Richey.

Dear Richey,

My Dad and I are going through a rough time now. That’s really why I have been unhappy and quite. I really don’t want you to think it’s your fault because it’s not. It’s my dads boss’ fault. My dad almost got fired yesterday so I was worried and still am that If my dad loses his job, we (me and my dad) will have to move away from Clarksville. Away from our house and away from my friends. I was thinking a lot about that. Im sorry that I didn’t tell you before. I didn’t tell anyone. You are going to be the first one who knows. Please, don’t tell anyone. I will do that later. I promise I will tell them but I want to do it. Hope your not to mad at me. Well basically that’s all I wanted to tell you. See you later at my house. If you want to ask me anything you can do it later at my house.

I read it over and over again. I thought it was good enough to give to him. I waited for the 2 remaining minutes to pass. When the bell rang. I got up, thanked Tyler for everything he did. As usual he said,

"no problem." I gave him a hug, I needed a hug badly. Then I walked to Richey. I gave him the letter. He read it and started to frown. I didn’t know what he was going to say. He looked at me and looked back at the paper. When he was done, he looked back at me and said,

"Are you kidding, why would I be mad at you." "Come here and give me a hug," he said with a smile.

I smiled back at him and gave him a hug. I backed up a little, so he let go. We talked about it for a while. He actually understood too. He was forgiving and he was helping me feel better, in weird ways, but still he was helping. I had one last class for the day because it was a half-day. It was gym. We played bad-mitten. I rock at bad-mitten so I was partnered up with Abby. I told her what was in the letter for Richey and she was also sorry and helped make me feel better. Then we started to play against another team. The teacher told us we could chose who we played against so Abby and I picked Tyler and Richey to play against.

I threw the birdie in the air and we began playing. Abby made the first point. As we played I began to get happier and happier. Everyone was smiling and I told Tyler what I told Abby and he knew something was wrong. He had made me feel better earlier and he said "Well are you feeling better now?"

I thought a bit and said, "Yeah I feel better now."

We continued playing and Abby and I ended up winning. Tyler and Richey were pretending to be sad and cry but then they bursted out laughing. We all did. The school day was over and everyone was happy. Richey and I went to my locker again. I put all my books back we didn’t get homework. When I finished. I got up and Richey put his arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer to him.

He gave me a squeeze and then let go.
