            While I was sitting at my vanity table, combing through my blond hair’ I was thinking about what had just come over me.  Looking in the mirror I smiled at my reflection.

“Connor hmmm…. Why can’t I get him out of my head,” I mumbled to myself, “Could I be in love?”

            Pursing my lips together, I applied my lip-gloss on my perfectly proportion lips.  I glanced down at my cell phone and noticed, I had a missed call, it was my best friend Kylie.  Snatching open my cell phone, I redialed her number.

            “Kylie!” You would never guess but, I just met the man of my dreams!” I squealed ecstatically. 

            “OK girl, calm down and tell me what you’re talking about,” Kylie said while she was laughing, “Who is this guy?”

            “Well, where do I start?” I replied, “He’s tall, beautiful blue eyes, deep tan, Oh, and don’t let me for get his dashing perfect smile.” 

            “So…. When can I meet this prince charming?” Kylie said, still laughing.

            “Well… he doesn’t exactly know I like him but he was eying me all over this morning,” I replied.

            “Kate!” mom yelled from the bottom step, “Come down here for a minute!”

            “Kylie, I’ll call you back!” I said loudly.

            I stopped to take one last look in the mirror, wiped the lip-gloss off my lower lip that had escaped past the edge, fluffed my hair and rushed to the top of the stairs.  I paused…Connor was standing at the bottom of the steps smiling up at me, leaning with one hand resting on the banister.  I felt the warmth rushing to my face, blushing; I gracefully started down the steps.  I looked down to watch where I was going and for a moment it felt as if I was floating to my prince, in my own fairy tale.

            “Kate, mom called from the other room, I have a favor to ask of you.”  “Connor and his wife just moved three blocks down, I want you to help them get settled in.”

            Wow, it felt like a ton of weight just came tumbling down on my heart.  Mom was still talking and her words faded away, as I sunk in my own thoughts. 

All these questions were racing through my mind, I thought solemnly, “A wife, is she beautiful, does he love her?”   

I snapped out of my daze when someone grasped my hand, so lightly.  It was Connor!  He bowed and gently kissed my hand.

“We would be in your debt madam, if you wouldn’t mind helping us out,” he proclaimed. 

When I made eye contact with him, his eyes were sparkling and he flashed me that smile.

 Every part of my body heated up, “this has to be fate, he has to be my knight in shinning armor.” I thought with a smile.  I’ll be glad to help! I shouted louder than I anticipated.  “Opps…did I say it that loud?”  I covered my mouth in embarrassment, blushing.

Connor looked at me and chuckled.

All right Julie, Kate can start tomorrow! Connor stated excitedly.  Turning his brow down in a silly but sexy face, “If that’s alright with you, Kate?”

“Of course it is,” I mumbled under my breath, sill embarrassed from my outburst.

“So it’s settled then,” Connor said, throwing his shoulders back.  I’ll be here to pick you up around nine, tomorrow morning. 

Connor shifted his eyes for my mom’s approval.  Once mom nodded in approval Connor, then proceeded out the door to walked home.

“So, Kate you don’t really mind helping them out do you?” mom questioned.

“He’s ok I guess,” I said still trying to hold my excitement back. 

“Well, I expect you to do anything to make them feel welcome in the neighborhood,” mom explained.

“Oh, don’t worry mom,” I said quickly, and headed up the stairs.

I couldn’t stop thinking about tomorrow. I would finally get to spend some time with the man of my dreams! 

“Well, I don’t like the idea of his wife,” I pondered to myself “she can’t be good enough for him.”

As I was thinking about tomorrow, I walked to the bathroom and turned the radio and shower on.  Once I was undressed, my own virgin image caught my eye in the bathroom mirror. 

“It’s perfect, no flaws, just soft perfect skin.” I thought to my self as I spun my image around in the mirror.  I stopped spinning and noticed my breast.  I reached up and cupped them for an inspection; they were firm and just the right size. 

“What does his wife have that I don’t!” I shouted at my own image. 

“Alright, I said to myself, get a grip he will see that you the woman for him.”
