          Tender love as I think back on my life, well, some would classify it as a tragedy. But I see it as everlasting love.  By the way my name is Kate and my story started ten years ago.  I was a pure heart at fifteen, until he arrived at my door.  I can still taste the lust on his lips and the heartbreak that changed my life forever.

       It was a hot July morning; I lay in my bed watching the kids play outside.  Out of the corner of my eye I caught a man approaching my driveway.  My heart started to pound he was tall and had a deep tan.  Oh, his eyes were so blue they reminded me of the waters of the Caribbean. 

Waiting at the top of the steps I heard a firm knocking at the front door.  Mom, I called ecstatically there’s a man at the front door.  Please let Connor in honey, mom called from the kitchen.  Connor, I said softly to myself.  Reaching for the door my heart pounded and my chest flushed with the heat of ecstasy.  Upon opening the door, I was greeted by a perfect smile and the erotic sent of his cologne.  Hi dear I’m Connor, I’m Kate Julies daughter looking down quickly I tried not to make eye contact.  Looking back up I noticed his eyes wandering over my body.  As I watched him it seemed he was soaking every detail of my body in.  For a moment our eyes locked in a deep gaze. Hi Connor, mom said coming from the kitchen, thanks for stopping by. Kate this is Connor from my work, mom stated as she was still drying her hands from the dishwater.
