"Huh" was my genius response to being asked out on a date for the first time in my life

"I  said  so you would probably say no if I asked you out for tommarrow night huh" zach spoke each word with exaggerated slowness as if i was retarded or something

I quickly recovered " Maybe I would, maybe I wouldn't but all you have to do is ask."I honestly didn't expect him to answer me but I was begining to be wrong a lot

"Okay then, Charlotte will you go out with me tommorow night say 7"I couldn't figure out if he was being sarcastic or not

"Um, su-re"he looked alarmingly unsuprised that I had accepted

"Good pick you up tommarrow at 6:30" he said strolling off before I could even say another word

I couldn't believe that I was going out with the one guy angela always wanted but could never get I couldn't understand why he didn't like her but now I was glad he didn't

By the end of 4th period word had gotten around school that 'pathetic little Charlotte had gotten a date with East Glens finest

Waiting for me by my car was miss angela she spoke before I could tell her to go away "Little Miss Charlotte better watch her back we can't have her trying to steal my popularity." She changed from sweet and scaringly innocent to threatning "So you better not go out with Zach or you will be punished"

"Oh that scary Angela to bad I don't give a shit what you think and I don't care about your popularity so please get your fat ass away from my car before I call the police or worse yet your daddy so he'll cut you off"

She looked stoked but I nor anyone else was gonna get her cut off so she stalked away like a kindergartener after being caught biting kids on the playground.

I got in my red beetle and drove home.
