she walked down the hallway trying to ignore the whispers and stares  thrown her way.it worked until she passed by  the Prep Club.  Emma , their leader  walked up  and asked  why she  was on their side of the hall way and shoved her.Hard. the new girl didn't answer.Emma shoved her again and the new girl fell. Then the entire prep club laughed and they walked off. I walked up and helped her to the girls bathroom."are you ok?" i asked. the new girl nodded. "my name is keke" she said."im Raven" i replied. And that was how we became best friends. we must have looked completely strange together her sporting neon colors and totally unmatching clothes while i looked like i walked out of a hot-topic magazine. she was really pretty. so was i but you wouldn't be able to tell i wore so much eyeliner. Keke said she had just moved from a school a few miles from here. she said she wore her clothes so she couldn't be labeled. so did i.

now, a year later we are still best friends but Emma tries her hardest to get rid of us.today she went too far. at lunch Keke and i were walking to our one empty table when Emma's prep club stopped in front of us and Emma came up and looked at us. "what do you want this time Emma?" I said. Emma glared at me and said to Keke,"so the little misfits have no friends do they?" Keke and i ignored her and tried to walk around her. but Emma came and tripped me and knocked off my glasses and then she stomped on them. "oh my gosh" i whispered. i couldnt see at all. i couldn't fight if i was blind. i wouldn't have been able to see Keke if she wasn't wearing her bright colors. "why'd you do that?" Keke said angrily. right then i knew Emma had made a huge mistake. only i knew the secret Keke had. Emma would be lucky if she got away with out any broken bones. "Keke no don't do it"i whispered. "if you get expelled i will be all alone." "dont worry Raven" she said. and then she turned back to Emma and smiled. "Don't worry Emma, this will only hurt a little!" Emma looked confused. "what will hurt?" she asked. "This" Keke said as she swung her leg up and caught Emma in the jaw. every body gasped. i laughed inwardly. she deserves this soooo much.i thought. Keke punched her in the stomach. Emma doubled over in pain. Keke laughed and we both walked out of the cafeteria. we didn't stop walking till we reached the forest behind the school. we sat down on the soft dirt beneath a weeping willow."i always loved this tree" i said softly. then we heard a rustling in the bushes a couple yards away. "your nervous Raven." Keke said."i can smell it." "what was that?" i asked. "i don't know,lets go find out."
