“Honey you don’t have too, you know that, right?” my mom said as we were driving to the airport in her bet-up Chevy pick-up truck.

“I know, Mom, I need to re-connect with Luke,” Luke was her Father.            “Emma,” my mother scowled. “Don’t you dare call your father ‘Luke’ while you’re at his house! Now, I don’t want my ex-husband calling me saying that our daughter that I raised has no respect!”            “Fine, I will call him Dad. Is Dad going to pick me up at the airport with a sign saying my name or soothing less embarrassing?” I said in a serious voice because I would be moving to a small town where word got around real fast and having your own father need to have a sign at the airport would probably would increase my friends there. Not.            “Your dad is not picking you up.”            “What?” I asked amazed.            “Your little friend is going to pick you up,” my mother said simply.             “Who?” I asked three times before she answered.            “Edward Clayton’s kid,”            “Jesse?” I asked horrified. Jesse Clayton a.k.a. the too-scared-to-leave-his-own-house-kid, the bookworm and he had that whole mama’s boy thing going. I groaned“A lot can change in ten years,” was all my mom said. Yeah a lot can change, I thought, I mean we were just six! He might be less dorky. I mean look at me! I used to be an underweight, clumsy and couldn’t talk right, now I’m a healthy weight with flawless skin, blonde hair, and pale blue eyes. A lot had changed.“Be nice,”“ I will,” I said not caring if she believed me or not.

I looked out of the passenger side of the window to find we were at the airport so I said my good-bye and "I love you"s to my mom then walked with my stuffed duffle bag to my fate in Chimacum Washington (or Phoenix Airport what ever way you to call it)

oooooooooooooooooooooooo     “Emma!” some hot guy shouted as I crossed Gate B. He had dark brown almost black hair, mossy green eyes, about 6 ft., muscular but not too much that he looked fat and was well, tall dark and handsome!            He ran over to me at incredible speed and scooped me into his arms giving me a hug. He smelled of pine trees and I looked under-dressed in my faded cut-offs, blue tank top and black flip-flops even through he whore shorts and a plain white T.            He released me to examine me more closely and I didn’t even stop him, even through he was a complete stranger but I felt warm and fuzzy around him. I didn’t want to stop him from hugging me or looking at me. “Who are you?” I finally managed to ask.            He bent over to retrieve my red duffle bag that I realized I dropped just now and said: “ You still kick-butt funny I see!” I gave him a puzzled look as he handed me my bag. He frowned. ”Jesse. Don’t you remember me?” he was still frowning and still was H-O-T!

“Oh my God!” I squealed, dropping my bag again.” JESSE CLAYTON!” I hugged him again, I guess things can change! I am in Heaven! I thought.

"I guess thats a yes," he laughed. His laugh was like music to my ears.
