Chapter 1

It was like any other day, the sun pooling through the window , the smell of my mom cooking pancakes and bacon.

I rolled over to meet your embrace, and to see your face but you werent there, I for got that you wouldent be there any more, that you were gone. And it came again, the pain, the lonely ness. I came to this pain ever time I thought of you, after five minutes of this feeling the numbness came and I felt like the time came to a stand still.

“ Eliza, breakfast is- Eliza are you okay, what’s a mater?” she walked in through the door and sat on the bed be side me. I started to cry.

“ he’s.. He’s gone , Alex is gone.” and then came the numbness.

“ shhh, shhh its ok, he’s in a better place now, and he’s watching over you. Shhh, shhh.” she rocked me back and forth rubbing my back and telling me its okay.

When I was done staining my moms shirt, “ so you coming for breakfast?”

“ yeah, just give me a few minutes.”
