After listening to the second message I felt happy, but also scared.

happy because he called me.

Frightened because I’ m the type of person you didn’t want to get close to.

After thinking about my day, and that happened just this morning I got my self together and called Alex.

After two rings I heard a tiered voice, “ hello?” I think I woke him up.

“hey… its Victoria.”

“who…? Oh yea that chick across the hall.”

I counted to 20 before talking again. “ did you need something?” I sounded a little mean.

“oh… well I don’t know.”

“ ok I have to go now…”

“ no! wait I was wondering if you wanted to go to dinner and a movie?”

Oh no what was I going to say, the kind of dinner wasn’t the same kind for him. And I don’t think I could handle my thirst yet. “ how about we get to know each other first.”

“ how about I come over right now?” he sounded hopeful, it was kind of funny.

“ sure, but I have to go in a half an hour.”

“ bye.” but he already hung up. He sounded kind of sad. But he didn’t under stand, he would never understand. After I hung up I sat there on my bed an thought about all of the emotion I went through, a lot of them I haven’t felt sense 1950, because after being a vampire for a while you start to lose feeling human, and when losing that we lose all or some emotions.
