They put me in the back and I stare out the window as Daddy holds my hand close to his body. My mind is racing with feelings of regret. My step father is a powerful man and one that can cause great harm, more then he has already caused me. We arrive to this huge building my heart sinks and I can't breath. Daddy pulls me out of the car but everything to me is in slow motion. I look down and my feet are dangling helplessly underneath me. I close my eyes tight...

When I open them I'm sitting across from people I've never met before. I look at them and they begin to ask me questions. I begin to tell them everything.  I tell them how he'd come into my room at night and have his ways with us. How on Saturdays mother would leave me and sister with him all day and he'd rape us over and over for hours at a time and beat us till we lay limp helplessly hoping for mercy.

After I'm done spilling my guts they print out a sheet and hand me a open to sign it with. I stare at it thinking that as soon as I sign it step daddy will be arrested along with mother and sister will be sent here where I can try to protect her again. I scribble my name at the bottom an daddy does the same. 

The police leave the room and I look at the mirror and daddy pulls me on his lap and hugs me close as he crys. Next thing I know my sister is being carried to to me as she sobs. They set her down and she runs to me and hugs me tight and Daddy takes us home....
