Distant Hearts: Jack
|
Jack closed his eyes as the stars above shone with an eerie yet beautiful glow. The cold and somewhat wet grass stained the back of his shirt. He was thinking. He was thinking about a lot of things. What if I died right now? What if I killed someone? What if I grew up? What if I have kids? Jack rolled on to his sides as a streetlamp flickered on. The voices inside of his head had clamed down and had stopped yelling at him. Everything was quiet for now. Jack was insane. Simple as that. He heard voices and saw an old man with red eyes staring at him. He was his only enemy. His worst enemy. He stared at the stars again. The voices would return soon. They would take control and kill more people. Like the old lady his parents and his girlfriend.
"Hello Jack" said a voice. Jack covered his ears in vain. The voice was from the inside no the outside. Jack screamed as the voice got louder and louder. It told him to stand up. Jack screamed even louder. The voices forced his legs to move. Everything was becoming darker. Jack fought against it. Then he saw a blining light. The voices stopped and everything started to white. Jack opened his arms as tires screeched.
"Take me death!" He yelled as everything became white.
