It has been 2 months since Chris and Briana turned their relationship from very good friends to boyfriend/girlfriend. They could not be happier. In a few weeks the winter dance is coming up. Chris and Briana were planning their night and what they were going to do. They decided that they wanted to rent a limo with a couple of their friends. So Jonathan and April would be accompanying them to the dance. Jonathan and April have been together since 6th grade. They met at a camp and have been inseperable ever since. That's what drew Briana and Chris to them in the first place. April and Briana would go off to the shopping malls and window shop while the two boys messed around in Jonathans studio making music. It was good for the teens because they were not spending every waking minute with each other.
A few weeks back Briana and Chris had their first big fight. It wasn't anything to write home about, but when you are a hormonal teenager that thinks losing your lipstick is a big deal, a fight with your boyfriend can mean the end of the world. Chris had been up all night studying for a test in Science. He had forgotten to call Briana, which is something he has done every night since they first met. Bri waited all night and around 10pm finally called him. He had fallen asleep on his book and was jolted awake by the ring of his cell phone. He answered it and Bri was furious.
"Baby I am so sorry. I have been up studying for this exam and I fell asleep. I did not mean to not call you baby. I am so sorry. Please forgive me."
"Why didnt you call me before you started studying? You have never missed calling me? Were you talking to some other bitch in that damn school?"
"No baby no. I just fell asleep on top of my science book. I am not talking to anyone. I swear."
Bri hung up the phone and did not speak to Chris all that next day. She was only 14, and this was her first relationship, so she really didnt know how to react to anything. Chris just let her simmer and calm down. He did not try to call or text. He knew that she would calm down, eventually. The next day she came up to his locker and gave him a huge hug.
"Im sorry baby. I was just scared and worried. I thought something had happened to you. I miss you when I'm not with you. I wish I could be with you all the time."
Chris leaned down picked her up and kissed her. Reassuring her that everything was okay and that he understood. She smiled and said, "Are you ready to go to class?" Chris grabbed her bag and walked her to their next class.
With only two weeks left until the Winter dance, April and Briana went shopping to find the perfect dress. They both had daddies credit card and were told what their spending limit was. Of course the moms stepped in and uped it just a tad, because they knew what the perfect dress was like and how much it could cost.
"So, how are things going with you and Chris?"
"Absolutely wonderful. I swear April, there is not a guy like him. He is so sweet and understanding. He is attentive and caring. Shy and bold all at the same time. His hands are so soft when they touch me. His kiss has got to be something of legend."
"Damn girl! So have you two, um..."
"NO! We both agreed that we did not want to screw things up by letting sex get in the way. Plus, we are only 14. I do not want to be like some of these girls here that lose their virginity before they're ready. I want it to be special and perfect and I want it to be the right time. Not too soon."
"I know exactly what you mean. Jonathan and I are the same way. The furthest we have ever been is him feeling of my tits and me kind of feeling of his dick through his pants. But he never asks me to do anything more because he knows how I feel. I know what he does when he goes home at night though," as she giggles.
"Yeah I can only imagine. Thats another that scares me about having sex with Chris. I have felt his dick through his pants as well and hes large. Even when he isnt hard, hes big. I'm tall, but damn! Its just scary."
After giggling some more and talking about har far they have gotten and how far they wont go, they went into an upscale dress shop and both found the perfect dresses. Briana found this beautiful deep blue dress. It was midway cut at the neck, V-shaped. It came all the way down to her feet. It was very long and flowing and fit her just perfect. April picked out a deep red dress with a low cut back and a V-shaped neck. Also very long and flowing. At the same time they both said, "The perfect dress!"
The boys were going to wait until the last minute to rent their tuxes. There was no way that they were going to spend a fortune on something that they were only going to wear once.
"Thats what I dont get about girls Jonathan. Why do they feel the need to spend a fortune on something that they are only going to wear once?"
"Maybe its just for the memory. They can look back at that dress and remember the amazing night they spend with us."
"True, I guess I never really looked at it that way. Hmm. So are things going okay with you and April"
"Things are amazing, could not be better."
"Jonathan, can I tell you something without comnig across as a major wuss?"
"Of course man, what you got?"
"I think I am falling in love with Bri."
"Wow, dude thats big. Are you going to say something to her?"
"I dont want to scare her off. What if she doesnt feel the same way? What if she thinks I am a complete loser? I cant tell her something like that. Can I?"
"Dude, that is totally up to you. We are only 14 and are still in our Freshman year of high school. If you love her, you love her."
"Yeah."
The weeks practically flew by for Briana. She was so excited about the dance. It was her first dance ever and she was going with Chris. I cant believe I am going to my first dance. I cant believe I am going with Chris. The cutest, hottest boy in school. I wish I could tell him how I really feel. I wish I could tell him that I love him. That I have fallen in love with him. How can I tell him and not scare him off? He is a great guy, but he is still a guy after all.
The door bell rang. It was Chris, clean shaven and looking very fine in his tux. It was black with a satan strip running down the side of each pant leg. He had on a white dress shirt underneath his jacket and his tie was the exact same color as Bri's dress. She looked at him and smiled.
"How did you find a tie that matched my dress exactly?!"
"Im just that good baby."
Chris grabbed Bri and gave her a huge hug and a kiss.
"Alright you two, time for pictures!"
"Mom, do we have to?"
"Come on Bri, we cant go without letting your mom take pictures. This isnt the last dance you're going to but it is the first one."
"Thank you Chris. I knew there was a reason I liked you."
Chris just smiled. He was so good when it came to Bri's parents. He met them about a month ago when Bri brought Chris home for dinner. Her parents wanted to meet the girl that their daughter could not stop talking about. Chris was wonderful. Even when Bri's father took him into the other room to have the 'you're dating my daughter' talk. I heard pretty much everything. So did mom. After they were done talking Bri walked out with Chris. He only lived a few blocks away so he walked over here.
"So how was the talk with dad?"
"Dont give me that, I know you heard every bit of that conversation. You and your mom," he said with a chuckle.
"Yes you're right. But I couldnt see you."
"Everything went fine honey. He just basically said, without exactly saying it, to keep my pants on."
"Oh, is that all," she said as she laughed.
Chris pulled her in and kissed her passionately and whispered good night into her ear.
"Okay you two, have a great time at the dance. Dont forget Bri you get an extra two hours on your curfew tonight so be home by midnight."
"Yes, ma'am."
"Dont worry Mrs. B, I will have your daughter home before midnight."
"Have fun!"
"Bye mom, bye dad!"
We climbed into the limo that already seated Jonathan and April. They were sitting on one side, we took another.
"April you look great," said Chris.
"Thank you. You clean up very good in that tux."
"Well, I did my best."
"You look great man. Nice job on matching your tie. I looked everywhere to find a tie that matched her dress but I could not find the same red anywhere."
"I thought you might say that dude. Here."
Chris held out his hand with a tie that was the exact same red as April's dress. Bri could not do anything except smile. She knew that she had a one in billion guy.
"Dude, where did you find that. I swear I looked everywhere in the world for that color tie."
"I am just that damn good," Chris said with a hearty laugh.
Jonathan changed ties and April could not have had a bigger smile on her face if she tried. She leaned across the limo and kissed Chris on the cheek.
"Thank you for finding that, you really didnt have to, but I am very glad you did."
"You're very welcome. I know how you girls are, and I want every one of us to have the perfect night."
"Chris?"
"Yes baby, what is it?"
Bri stared into Chris's deep blue eyes that were completely focused on her.
"I love you."
Chris looked at her and a smile as big as Texas pured onto his face.
"Oh baby, I love you too!"
They kissed, very soft, but lingering. Jonathan and April could not help but do the same. They all parted and began to laugh all in unison.
The limo arrived at the dance and the guys got out, one on each side and held the door for their girls. Funny thing was, April got out on Chris's side, and Bri got out on Jonathan's side. Both girls began to laugh. The boys just escorted the girls to the right guy and they walked into the gym. This was the Freshman and Sophomore dance so their were no upper classman to be found. The room was colored by dim blue lighting. There were blue streamers all across the ceiling. On the floor there were blue and white balloons. They also had a smoke machine that pumped smoke out onto the dance floor. They found a table that was unoccupied and sat down. The boys went off to get drinks for everyone.
"Isn't Chris the sweetest guy you have ever met."
"Well, I cant count Jonathan out, but yes, he is a sweetheart. I cant believe he got that tie for him. That was very cool."
"I cant believe I just came out and told him I loved him. I was so worried about scaring him off, that I wasn't going to say anything, but it just came out."
"Anyone who sees you two together knows that you two are in love. I can tell by the way he looks at you that he is deeply in love with you. We may only be almost 15, but we have some great guys with us."
"We are very lucky girls."
The boys made it back with some punch and Chris stood up and held out his hand as a slow dance started.
"May I have the pleasure of this dance?"
Bri held out her hand and he guided her onto the dance floor. He brought her in close and she put her hands on his shoulders while his hands were around his waste. They dance to the next few songs that played. In between each song he brought her in for a passionate kiss. They danced so close together that you could not get a piece of dust between them if you tried.
The dance went off without a hitch. Towards the end, a couple of teachers went up onto the stage and announced that they would be naming the King and Queen of the Winter dance. There had been ballots on the tables when they arrived. You filled in who you thought should win. The female teacher who was none other than Mrs. Foster announced the King.
"The King of the Winter dance is Chris Barnett!"
Chris had a look of shock and fear as Bri pushed him towards the stage. He climbed up and the crown was put on by one of his and Bri's favorite teachers. The male teacher on stage of whom Bri nor Chris knew announced the Queen. Chris was kind of nervous at who it would be. He didnt want to have to dance with some other girl. He knew that he would have to if someone other than Bri won.
"The Queen of the Winter dance is...Briana McCall!"
The gym errupted into cheers as Bri got up on stage with her boyfriend that she loved. The male teacher placed the crown on her head and Mrs. Foster gave her a big hug.
Mrs. Foster said, "And now the King and Queen will share a dance."
Chris, once again, led Bri onto the dance floor with all eyes on them. The music started. Instead of their customary hands on the shoulders and around the waist, they took a more traditional form. One hand around her waist, the other holding one of her hands. One of her hands on his shoulder, the other holding his hand. They began to dance to a very slow, rhythmic song. They were so graceful that the entire gym could not take their eyes off of them.
"I love you Bri," Chris whispered.
"I love you too Chris."
She leaned in and kissed him. The whole gym went into "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOs!"
The limpo dropped Jonathan and April off first.
"Thanks for sharing the limo guys. We had and awesome time tonight. Congrats on King and Queen tonight you two."
"Good night," both Chris and Bri said in unison.
"I had a blast tonight baby. Thank you for taking me."
"You're welcome Bri. I had fun too. I really do love you Bri. I think I loved you from the minute I laid eyes on you."
"I love you too Chris. I love you very much."
They kissed the whole way back to Bri's house. They got out of the limo and Chris walked Bri to the door.
"11:45, right on time. I told you I was good baby," he said with a grin.
He kissed her once more and bid her good night. She walked into the house grinning from ear to ear. But that grin was not to last. She walked into the house with the tear filled eyes of her mother meeting her as she walked in.
