**Getting a smile over my face I spoke and said "this is why" as I jumped off to the left past the rocks and in to the water.**   Holding my breath I felt the world beneath me exit my grasp. Letting all of my disposition and political correctness go I felt my body for one second, stop in mid air. Looking back I saw my true love Ethan and looking forward I saw my true love the ocean they were equal in my heart. Falling in to the cold violent water I immediately sunk as the salty consequences of ragin water splashed over my head casting me down deeper. My clothes stuck to me wet and uncomfortable, the purple pajamas were ddefinetelly not meant for the ocean. I now wished I as a mermaid naked with fins able to breath and explore this wonderful world in the deep. It was healing for me I was no longer weakened by the pull of gravity, my head didn’t feel dry and uncomfortable. And for a minute I felt at home. Until my mortal hold and physical ability kicked in and my bod began to crave air. As I tried to swim up the waves would bring me down. My body went from peaceful to panic as my body begana to convulse from lack of air. Again fighting my way up my weakness bringing me down I gave up letting my body sink. Until I felt a grab on my arm a pull for life, and then darkness filled my world and peace came over me once more. I could hear a distant voice calling my name begging me to open my eyes, I tried but a hold came over me, my body was here but there was a block. No matter how hard I tried my eyes would not open and all control on my part felt lost. I then flet pressure in my chest hard and then a gust of air, sweet life!, put back in to my body as I began coughing out water as it released from my lungs. Opening my eyes I saw Ethan with tears in his eyes and anger on his face looking down at me as I began to laugh. He looked at me and said “Emma! What were you thinking, you could have died, what if I couldn’t fin dyou, what if you hit the rocks!? I don’t want to loose you!” Now anger filled my body as did weakness and I laid back in the damp sand and yelled “What if! What if! Look Ethan I don’t have cancer for sure! And if I do its cancer! Its not a death sentence, it doesn’t make me some weak child that you should lock in a padded room! Im still a person with feelings and color! I have dreams and I want to fill them, I have passions and the ocean is one of them! Don’t keep me from that! Im fine! I may not be able to swim here, but it’s the strongest part of the beach you know that! I may not be able to walk but when Im in the water I feel like I can fly! I miss serfing, the alst time we were going to serf I got sick, but Im not going to give it up! I love you, but I love the ocean too! Please lets go I need to get dressed for the doctor!” Standing up he helped me up, I dreaded the slow walk to the wheel chair I was exaughsted even though I wouldn’t admit it. Just then I felt my feet escape me and my body lifted as Ethan carried me like a baby laughing as he did this, he then whispered “you wanna fly”? I nodded my head as he bagan running with me around the bbeach as I laughed hystarically, then laying me in my chair he whispered a carriage for my princess. As he bagan rolling me back through the sand that would lead to my car. I then knew right there that I loved Ethan, I really loved him.
