As the gat opened Jason looked at me and then back at Michelle who was now folding her arms and looking down her lip sticking out as she pouted. Finally coming back to reality he pulled forward quickly in to the driveway as he then put the car in park and shut it off taking a deep breath. I was questioning my own judgment as I thought “was I TOO harsh, was it immature or did I stand my ground and show her who’s boss. I wonder if Jason is going to be mad at me, HE BETTER NOT BE! Ugh I’m so confused” just then I was snapped back in to reality as Jason changed the subject clearing his throat as he spoke “uhm well lets go see the house, now Michelle I don’t have anything up for you yet but I promise tomorrow we can go pick out some furniture together.” Smiling she answered with a “just me and you Daddy”? Looking at me awkwardly he answered “no we as in me, Ashley and you because were a family ok”. Now smiling as to put the subject at ease he then opened the door as I looked at Michelle and our eyes met as she kind of glared at me. Ignoring it I waited as Jason opened the door for me. As we walked to the door he put in the code to unlock it as it snapped and opened for us he then picked me up and carried me over thre thresh hold. Surprised by this I began kissing him and wanting to have sex again, we had had so much going on we had only done it once. Just then Michelle screamed snapping me and Jason back to reality, looking over there was a small spider on the wall as Jason looked at me with an I’m sorry look putting me down and killng the spider with his shoe. Michelle ran over t him thanking him for saving her. Rollin my eeys I began to look around at how pretty our house was, I noticed that almost everything was un packed as I looked at Jason he smiled and replied with “I hired and interior decorating company I hope you like it”. I loved it and even in my anger and disappointment this was mine and Jason’s we shared this and I thought maybe just maybe we could get through this. Walking into the living room painted coffee brown with cherry wood shelving holding fake fruits and pictures of plants around me, comng to the dark leather couch that was laying over the dark hard wood floors I sighed as I sat down on it letting the cool material soothe me. The television was a flat screen hidden in a cherry wood cabinet that also held our movies, as I looked down at the coffee table it was not only cherry wood, but had pictures of our wedding day laying on it under glass. This was touching to me, As I stood up to go to Jason I saw Michelle look at him and ask “I don’t have a bed like at ggs so where do I sleep”? My heart melted for her even in my frustration I realized she doesn’t have a bed or anything like in her old home. Then it hit me it was her old home, this was her home too. Scared I thought to myself so where home the honey moon is over even though it never began and Jason will be going back to work in a few says so now what?
