Laying there on the floor in my own bloody mess I began to moan in pain as Kane walked in. I could hear in his step  anger flooding over inside of him. As he reached the room he slammed the door echoing the hall, locking it with a snap. Walking over to me, I was spread out on the floor my face to the floor, my nose bleeding both of my eyes black and a shooting pain ran up my leg inside of me. 

A numbing sensation erupted in my face and my stomach was bruised. Laying their beat up Kane looked at me. Spit on my hair, my clothes ripped off, my bleeding lip now revealed as I showed him my face which was sore, bruised and stained with tears and red blood. Looking at me he did nothing, his face full of disgust, all he did was help me up, I felt his tension and anger steaming over to me. Looking up at him I was relieved he had helped me up. Weakness had taken over  my body and I was a trembling mess. 

As his eyes scanned me up and then down, he went to stroke my face and then suddenly out of no where he punched me deep into my stomach once more. Forcing vomit out of my mouth and my body into it. Shaking violently he then told me “Get up!” “Get.. The.. Fuck.. Up.. Now!” Stumbling to my feet I guess I just wasn’t fast enough because he forced me back down to the ground my head hit the concrete as blackness took over. I was falling down deeper and deeper until i was gone, passed out from the pain and the fall. 

I woke up in a bed, a t.v. was on very low and a girl walked in.”Hey finally ya awake!” “Man what did you do? Kane’s a little pissed off.” Looking around I saw I was in his bed and that the girl was Dana. Looking over at the clock it was 11:00 in the morning, my head hurt, and I was in pain. The curtains where shut and it was so dark that Dana didn’t see my bruises until she flicked on the light. As she saw them she walked over looking at me. “What. Did. You. Do?” Shaking my head in pain I replied “i don’t know”. 

Looking at me again she asked “Did Kane do this to you”? “No. they guy I was with did, he was so fast, and I was so scared, I didn’t know what to do”. Crying now Dana walked over to me “Ya, you have to keep up with him, he’s a regula. Nice, guy. Mean drunk”. I asked her “Have you ever met him sober”? Laughing she answered “only once, after his wife died from cancer he became more and more of an alcoholic”. 

“He beat me once too, I never got beat from him again”. “How” i asked. “Easy” she said this with a laugh in her voice, I learned to fake it.
