As we sat on the roof together I began to feel sick. My head began to pound. 

“Sweetie! what’s wrong? EMMA!” 

As I looked around I felt like I wasn’t in my body. Confused all I could murmur was a “huh” Closing my eyes I lay there listening to Ethan. 

“Emma”! “Stop it this isn’t funny!” 

Looking up I saw him, I knew who I was, yet I felt confused. It was almost like I had traveled out of my body and back in. Confusion took over me. “Ethan” “I Im sorry, i just dont feel very well.” “Thank God! You scared me! You were acting really weird”. “Im sorry I I just feel very sick”. “Maybe you’re hungary”? “Lets go ask your mom when the Fajitas will be done”. 

When he mentioned food thats when it happened. I felt fluid running through my tongue, warm tart juices coming. The overwhelming sickening feeling that takes over just before.... “UHHHHHH” “Ethan watch out”! I threw up all over my roof, barely missing Ethan. 

Filling with embarrassment I got up and quickly ran tot he bathroom. I don’t know why exactly I felt embarrassed because last year before we were dating I threw up on him after riding a roller coaster ten times. It was different now though. I really cared about him, more than ever. 

Sitting in the bathroom, with the door locked I kept throwing up until I was throwing up dry heaves. The smell made me gag more and more. I felt awful.

I lay there now asleep. I hear in the background Ethan and my parents knocking on the door shouting my name, yet I was too tired. A twilight zone came over me, floating reality away, slowly until everything was almost a whisper. I fell asleep. 

As I lay there sleeping My Dad had unlocked the door, laying me in my bed with my Mom and Ethan watching. Ethan was worried, my parents thought it was food poisoning or something of that matter. Just a routine sickness.
