"Bye Jennifer!" My best friend Alice called,"Don't forget to call me this summer!"

"Silly, you know I could never forget you!" I called back.

As I bolted down the hot, cracked sidewalk, thoughts raced in my head of the past year of school. All those days I spent talking with the best guy friend I've ever had, Tyler. All those wasted nights with Jennifer, used prankcalling and plain trickery. But those days were over and a new chapter in my life was just beginning. Summer.

I approached my house and swung open my front door.

"Mom, dad I'm home from my last day of school. I passed 8th grade, don't you want to congratulate me?" I yelled to what seemed like an empty house.

Then I saw a note on the kitchen table. It read:

  Jennifer,

Your father and I will be out for dinner tonight. We've left ten dollars for your dinner. Behave yourself.

Sincerly,

Mom

Yeah, like ten dollars will get me anything in this town.I grabbed the crumpled dollar bills, stuffed them in my pocket and headed upstairs to change.

A few hours later, I had plopped myself down in front of the television as usual. Why am I such an outcast? It's the last day of school, I should be out partying.Whatever, lets see what jennifer is doing.

I grabbed my cell phone and dialed Jennifer's number.Straight to voicemail. As I hung up a loud noise from upstairs startled me.

"Mom? Dad?"I yelled as I creeped up the stairs phone in hand.

Suddenly, a hit over the head sends me falling to the ground.

To be continued...

I woke up what seemed like hours later and a sharp pain led me to scream. Hurrying to shush myself, I looked at my surroundings. I was in a room, filled with junk. Useless objects like a broken television, old posters from the eighties, and trash was everywhere. I however was tied onto a chair, unable to move. I screamed again.

Suddenly, a masked man scuffled into the room. He didn't handle himself like a true villan,or kidnapper. His movements showed he was scared. Really scared.

"Who are you? Why are you keeping me here?! Let me go home!" I belted out as if the words were already in my mind.

"Hush! I heard you scream. That bump on your head must hurt, I'll go get some ice."

At this point I didn't care what he was doing I just wanted to get out of there. I struggled to get free. Twisting and turning as much as I could. I finally got a free and used it to start untieing my other hand. But then, he walked back into the room.

"Oh no, no, no. We can't have you escaping now can we?" He said, quickly to tie me back up even tighter than before.

With tears racing down my already tearstained face I yelled

 "Who are you?!"

"Why Jennifer," He replied, "Don't you remeber me? I'm Dan your father."

To be continued...

With my face drenched with tears I tried to figure this all out. My father's name was Joesph. He was probably sitting at home with my mom right now. I was so confused at this moment more than I've ever been, in my life. Why would this crazy kidnapper claim to be my father?

But I knew what I had to do. To get out of this sticky situation, I had to think quick. But before I could say anything he spoke.

"Jennifer I'll fix you some soup. You look terrible. Oh and I'll get a blanket it's starting to get a little chilly in here."

As I looked down at myself ,I realized I was still in shorts and a t-shirt. Plus I was really hungry. So, I just waited and thought about what I was to do.

After about ten minutes he brought in with cold split pea soup and a blanket.

 "I can't eat this," I said.

 '"Why not?"

"If you haven't noticed I'm kind of tied up right now."

That got me a hard slap on the face and fed my cold pea soup.

 What's going on?

A few hours later I reliezed that I really had to go the bathroom. If I didn't go soon there would be a mess.

"Excuse me, may I please use the restroom. Please?" I asked.

"Why should I let you go to the bathroom, after that smart mouth of yours goes off I shouldn't let you do anything!"

I had to think on my toes.

"Well, if you don't let me go it will get very messy in here. I assure you."

"Go! And hurry up I have to talk to you when you get back."

He quickly untied me and showed me to the restroom. I closed the door and did my business. As I was washing my hands I explored the bathroom. It was discusting. There was blood everywhere and dirt too. Then I saw the window, I looked out and saw tree's, lots and lots of tree's. Then the doorknob started to jiggle. I hurried and pretended like I was drying my hands.

"Little girl? Little girl, come out here now!!" He said.

He was swerving back and forth, like he was drunk. He was being terrible. I already knew he wasn't my father but he wasn't doing a very good job at it. Calling me little girl, what kind of fool was he?

I walked towards him. He told me to sit down so I sat in the chair next to the couch. I saw a new man in the room. He was younger maybe seventeen. He wasn't so bad looking but I refused to look into his eyes. But he sure was looking at me. Was, was he checking me out?

"Little girl, what's your name?"Asked the kidnapper.

 "Jennifer." I replied.

"Would you like to play a game? Jennifer." He asked.

 "What kind of game?"

"Well this game would require you to do some 'work'"He said as the younger man came up and started unbuttoning my shirt.

To be continued...

After that moment I was scared. But it was too late. They raped me even though my screaming fulled the rooms and the tears covered my face.

They left me alone after that so, I drifted off.

At the crack of dawn, a stream of light awokened me.I sat there for hours, alone, starving but not making a sound.I thought about Tyler and how I missed him, my parents, Jennifer, and if I'd ever get out alive. Then "he" woke up.

As he stumbled around, obviously hungover, I watched him.He finally looked at me. Walking towards me he smirked then gave me a kiss on the cheek.I cringed.

"You weren't so bad last night toots." He said while looking at my bloodstained clothes.

"You vulgar pig!"I yelled then spit on him.

"Slow down girl, you wouldn't want me to get angry would you now?"

Hours later is friend returned eyeing me all night.I was terrified but I had to be strong so I didn't make eye contact with him at all.Finnally he left.

The man who had claimed to be my father just hours ago was drunk off of his ass this was my chance to escape.

I waited until he was asleep and then some. Then I wiggled out of the poorly tied ropes around my hands. I tip-toed towards the door. With my hand on the knob I turn around and see his eyes slowly open the look directly at me.

Alone on a friday night 6.

I stopped right where I was standing.  Not breathing, not moving, and hoping he didn't notice me.The sweat dripped off my face and then, he spoke.

"Lllittle girl, what are you dddoing?"

 I didn't reply, I couldn't. What was I going to do?

He tried to stand up but was wobbly. He grabbed my arm in a hostel manner and yelled.

"Lllittle girl, what are you doing? Answer me!"

He was very drunk and I knew if I ran then he wouldn't be able to catch me. I slowly turned and knew what I had to do.

"Well, I'm afraid my time here is up 'dad', so I must go."

 "Oh no you don..."

His sentence was interrupted by my fist crushing every bone in the left side of his face, him hitting the ground, and the door opening with me running through it.

I looked back at the house and saw how small it was and how terrible it was kept. There were tools and a old beat up truck. I wasn't very good with cars but I could remember a logo. It was a ford.

I ran and ran without looking back. All I saw was tree's, tons and tons of tree's. By the time I'd been running for about an hour, I had covered an amazing amount of ground. But, I wasn't at the street yet and I wasn't about to give up.

I was night fall in a few hours and my pace had slowed but I was giving it all I had left in me. Finally, I was the road.

I followed it for hours trying to flag down people but none were paying attention. Finally one stopped but so did I. Out of the darkness, appeared an old beat up truck. It was a ford...
