This is why...
|
Have you ever heard your parents say, "Don't do drugs!"? Well usually you're standing there thinking, "Why are they telling me this, they don't know anything!"
You could listen to your parents and grow up to be smart, talented, and wonderful parents yourself. Or you could choose not to listen and end up losing enerything you have. My mother chose this road. This is what could happen if you choose the road my mother took.
When I wasn't even one year old, my mother was hooked on drugs. I grew up with just her and my brother until I was three. After that she met a guy named Wayne. Wayne started to abuse my mother and I. During those years we had plenty of cuts emotionaly and physicaly. We were always trying to kick Wayne out. Since my mother was drug addicted, she couldnt help much. When I was around four or five, Wayne finally moved out.
At the age of five and a half, my mother was so messed up on drugs she flipped out. That night I had to move in with my grandparents, and was forbidden to see my mother and father.
In between then and now my mother went to three rehabs, and I, on the other hand, went to court for six years, beacause my dad didn't like that I was living with my grandparents.
In the end you may not end up as lucky as i am. This is just one of a million reasons not to do drugs. And if this isn't enough to stop you from doing it, I don't know what is. It not only hurt my mothers life, it hurt my brothers and my life as well as it could yours.
