It was Monday, September 9th. I was in my usual place in my mind, only thinking about what I was reading. Then, somthing caught my ear.
"Students, we have a new child joining our curiculum. This is Zage Uchigawa. She just transferd here from NorthCentral."
My eyes were fixed on her. She had long, shining black hair, about as long as mid-back. Her eyes were a glaring, blood red, that seemed to be lost, deep in thought. She sat down in a seat a few rows away from mine. After the teacher gave us the assignment, we got started working. Almost every three minutes, I looked back at Zage. Before I knew it, the day was over. I was walking down the hallway and saw Zage getting her things out of her locker. I ran up to her and smiled.
"Hi! I'm Airi Kitsuki! We have the same class together, remember?"
"No. I don't." Zage said with a straight face.
"Oh... well... You don't have any friends yet... do you?"
"No. I don't really plan on making any, either." She glared at me.
"Um... a-are you sure? It's no fun unless you have frien--"
"No. Friends are a waste of time. They mean nothing to me. Go away and leave me alone!" Zage slammed her locker and stormed off to her bus. /Hmm... what's her problem?/ I thought to myself.
The Next Day...<After school>
"Hey! Zage!" I smiled.
"Oh, God. Leave me alone already! I told you! I don't want a friend!!!" Zage yelled.
"You seem like you do. You act alone and sad all the time." I frowned.
"So? I might be sad about something else! That's not buisness of yours!"
"... Well, fine. But if you change your mind, I like on 2356 Street." I walked off. I opened my locker and got out my backpack. Then I closed the door to see Cullen.
"Oh! Hi, Cullen." I smiled.
"Who was that you were talking to?" He asked.
"Zage Uchigawa. She moved here yesterday." I frowned.
"She's cute." Cullen smiled.
"She won't be friends with you." I sighed and looked at Cyllen, whom was not there. I looked over at Zage and he was talking to her. She was talking back. /O_o Is she acctually talking to him?/ I stood there, watching the Lone Wolf, communicateing with a smile.
