Beginning of a long night.

“may I introduce Princess Juliana Timber Kura Denton.” Announces Jackal.

Everyone in the room stands and claps as Timber walks down a set of stairs in crimson red dress that clings to every curve of her body and sits off the shoulders. Long white gloves are on her arms up to her elbows. A small silver tiara makes her long black hair glow. Escorting her is none other than Fang.

“and Lady Selene Cristiana Lupine.” adds Jackal. Escorting Selene is Raphael. Selene is wearing a black dress which sets off her ice blue eyes and short black hair that just goes past her ears each tip looking as sharp as razor blades with red tips as if it was blood dripping from them. Her stone features of marble beauty only become more attractive in the dim light of the room and black dress.

When Timber reaches the bottom of the stairs Fang escorts her to her chair and takes a seat on the left, Selene takes a seat to the right of her and Raphael on the left of Selene. The entire room bows to the Family. Victor looks over Timber and is amazed.

just when I thought she couldn’t be more beautiful. Now in the moonlight glistening off of her marble features now I am sure. Gerard does not deserve this angel. I will make sure that he knows what he will be losing tonight. Losing her to me.” victor thinks to himself.

“friends and family eighteen years has come. Tonight we celebrate the birthday of our ancestor’s fruit of blood and passion. We celebrate the birthday of the most pure wolf. The daughter of Thorn Gina Lupine and Justin Kyle Denton.” Selene announces with a glass of blood in her delicate hands.

“Now Juliana, drink. May the blood of the kill of the night first pass your lips. And with this may the night begin.”

She passes the glass to timber who takes it absent mindedly and drinks. As her lips touch the blood of the kill, the crowd cheers and music begins to play people start dancing. As the last drop of blood passes her lips a stray tear runs down her cheek and falls to the floor. Victor looks up. He slowly walks towards her. Timber stands up and walks outside to the lake. She stands there looking over the lake tears running down her face watching the moon glisten off the dancing water. Her hair wisps lightly in the breeze. Something stirs in the distance. Someone steps out of the shadows. She falls to her knees at the shore of the lake and howls. The people in the party stop and listen to timber’s song. Selene stops dancing and listens even her cold hard heart melts to the sound of timber’s voice. Timber’s song of loneliness, pain, hurt, and sorrow now turns to a song of anger and fury. Fang begins to walk to the door when Victor grabs his arm.

“it’s best to let her be.”

“humph.”

Back at the lake timber finishes her song and begins to sob. Tonight, November 6th five hearts are breaking. And more heartache is to follow.
