Reopened Scars CHAPTER 2- Friday night football

Friday night football.

“Go! Go! Go! Touchdown!” she screamed and hugged Gerard. They started dating a few weeks ago.

“A girl who loves her sports. I like that.” Gerard says to her.

“wait there’s a girl here?” says Mikey “all I see is Timber.”

“HEY!” timber says punching Mikey’s arm

“alright Gerard the band’s off. I’m going to go see the gang. Okay?”

“sure whatever you want to do Ti. You don’t need to have my permission to go see your friends.”

“come on Randi let’s go say hey to Breanna and Corey.”

“I’m coming. OH! Look it’s David. You know he is still treating me like a jerk.”

“Randi what do you expect the guy still loves you.”

“I know.”

“hey Bre. How’s it going?”

“oh fine. I mean at least we’re wining.”

“that’s for sure.”

All of a sudden Kristin runs up to them.

“RANDI! TIMBER! BREANNA! COME ON IT’S ZACK!”

They got to the field and there they see Zack on the 50 yard line lying on the ground surrounded by the team and the coaches. The ambulance is on the field.

“OH! NO! ZACK!” Randi cries.

“Blake what happened?” Timber asked

“I don’t know. He got hit, they said that he blacked out and just fell.” said Blake

As they watch crying hugging each other Gerard runs up and hugs Timber.

“Oh Gerard! It….it…it’s Zach!” she cries into his chest.

“I know. I know. Hey Blake go find the guys.”

Some one walks up to Randi.

“hey why are you crying? Did your boyfriend dump you or something?”

“NO YOU ASS!! MY BOYFRIEND IS ON THE FIELD!! ON THE FUCKING 50 YARD LINE USE YOUR EYES!!! AND HE’S MY HOMECOMING DATE!!”

“yeah you jerk off! You don’t just walk up and ask them why they’re crying and ask if their boyfriend dumped them.” Ray screams at him.

“damn. I was just wondering. You people could have been nicer. Jeeze that’s what I get for talking to emo’s and a preppy jock’s girlfriend.”

“shove off fucker.” Gerard says bowing up.

“Gerald don’t worry about him.” timber says pulling on his arm.

The guy walks away. Mumbling something about emos’ attitudes.

“hey frank go get the hummer we’re following the ambulance to the hospital.”

“okay.”

They get in the car. Bob, ray, and frank all are complaining about how timber and Randi won’t let them turn the radio on. Getting tired of listening to them complain Mikey slaps them. Gerard laughs. Timber and Randi just continue sniffling. They finally make it to the hospital. There they greet Zach’s parents.

“OH! TIMBER! RANDI! How are you guys doing?”

“horrible. And things won’t get any better until I get to talk to Zach.” Randi says

“oh same here ever since that first time my parents shipped me here to train with my aunt, he’s been like a brother to me and you are like my second mom.”

“oh I know honey. Well he just got checked in ICU.”

“can we go see him?”

“yes he is in room 243. Down the hall third door on your left.”

Randi takes off down the hall.

“I’ll let her have some time with Zach before I go and interrupt things.”

“oh honey you wouldn’t be interrupting anything. He is still asleep.”

“really. Well I still want to give them some time alone.”

“well honey I’m going to keep calling around, but if you need anything let me know I’m right over here.”

“yes ma’am.”

“so there’s part two of Timber’s life adventures.” says Gerard.

“well I just found out you’ve come here every year to train with your aunt for something. You’ve known Zach and his family for what seems like forever. And you know that Randi wants to tell Zach something and you don’t want to tell his mother.”

“damn. Your good. Instead of singing you should be a P.I.”

“I know but I’ll stick to this.”

“good I think you look better singing anyway for what it’s worth.”

“worth it’s weight in gold. So Ti, what does Randi want to tell Zach?”

“I’ll tell you when we get home. Ray and frank are big mouths.”
