And in everything I gave to you

And in everything I gave to you
Running through the forest jumping, leaping. My feet coming down hard on the damp floor beneath me, only to find that my feet are no longer feet but are paws. My heart begins to race as the adrenalin rushes through my veins. I look to my left and glance to my right, there my brothers and sisters already in their purest forms of grey, black, brown and me the rarest of silver. They look to me and wait as I begin to sing to the beauty that calls us to become what we really are. Wolves, as many as 20 others surround me and sing along the sweet tune encrypted in our souls. I rise and begin to run again leading my pack to our destiny. We pass your house the pack goes ahead as I stop and make my way into your room to take in your sweet smell. I kiss you cheek and you stir in your sleep but not awaking from your dreams of me. So sleep still. As I move along. As I leave your house I call out again this sweet song only to find a stray tear fall down my face. And as the rain begins to pour down, beating down on your rood like an African drum. My pack calls to me, their leader, their hope, their faith. And in everything I gave to you I must carry for them, only I won’t brake this time. I can’t.
