For a quick update on what happend or if you hadn't read the first part yet. I started riding Tee, my aunts horse. He was a little wack. Okay maybe wild mustang like! But I stayed on him. Well...maybe!

             ------------------------------------

After a few weeks of riding Tee, I had really gotten used to how he moved. I could predict in a way what he was going to do next. I even got him to canter, well just a little. The best part was that I wasn't even afraid of him anymore. So each stride we took with that canter built confidence in me and most importantly, Tee. He hadn't trusted anyone before in his life. Sure people think horses are dumb and don't feel anything. Well, thats were they are wrong. Horses are just like humans. They have feelings, personalities. Their different and unique, just like we are. Anyway, he started to trust me, and that was making our bond grow stronger and stronger.

The next day my riding instructer called me up and asked if I wanted to go on a trail ride. I said yes, of course. Then I asked who I was riding. I never imagined riding Tee on a trail ride, but thats who I was going to ride. I honostly didn't think he was ready for it, but Lisa did. Everyone knows that they should trust their riding instructors judgment, but this time I was wrong. We got to this metal bridge and all of the other horses walked over it like the stonedust in the ring. Once Tee heard that sound his head shot up. I pushed him forward and he took a few steps before backing up. Lisa came back and started leading him. Once his front hoof hit the bridge, he freaked out and reared up several times. But I stayed on...or not. The last rear he did I came off his back, landing on my feet with both reins in my hands.

That was the end of that trail ride for me. Someones mom rode back to the barn with me. I was so dissapointed in Tee. He ruined my first trail ride. I thought I wasn't going to ever get back on him, because I hated him. But I knew I would have to get back on him. I needed to show him that he couldn't take control over me, to show him I was in charge. The horse should never be the boss.

Next trail ride I went on I took Tee. We went a different way with no metal bridges. Still a mistake. He saw the guard rails and flipped out. He saw cows and flipped out. Bikes and trees, even stones scared him. I really needed to despookify this horse. Any true horsemen would know it shouldn't take long for some things. Trees and stones were gone in a few seconds. The cows he still has problems with. Bikes are nothing. But metal bridges still are a problem. Its just one thing we can't break him of.

xHickChick789x Hey Tay. Sorry it took so long to read this part. I've been on One-Stride a lot lately and with my school work, every thing has been hectic.

Tee really seems like he's spooky, like my cat T.J. lol But that sound like one challenging horse. Well, let me know when you post more. I love learning new things about the other side of your life. :)
