I sat there in the white waiting room.I watched the second hand move on the clock.The clockes like those school ones.So dumb.Two hours of waiting.Two long hours.They said it wasn't too bad.A minor gun wound to the shoulder.Minor?How do you tell whats major and minor?Oh gosh.Two hours.

Without thinking I got up and walked over to the nursing station.

A pretty young nurse who's name tag read sue.(how typically) approached the window.

"How may I help you sir?"She said in a precky warm voice.

"I was wondering if"I paused."You wouldn't happen to be able to tell me when Robert Mccraken would be out of surgery" I paused again"could you?"

"Are you a family memember?'She asked looking at a chat.

"No,I am his..."How do you til someone you just meant your engaged to a man when you yourself are male and would it still count the same as if it was a female and a male.Fuck government laws."We are engaged"I mumbled playing with the ring he gave me.

"Oh."She said and backed up to ask the other nurse something.Probably what do to in this type of thing

She steped back up to the window.

"He is almost done."She stated plainly.

"Is he doing okay?"I asked franticly

"He is doing just fine"She said with a smiled.

"Thanks"I said walking back to my chair.

I sat down in the same sit I have been sitting in for two hours.Just as I sat down Quinn and Jeph come running in the waiting room.

"Where is he?"Quinn said the mintue he saw me.

"Is he okay"Jeph asked.

I stood up."The nurse said he will be done soon and he is doing fine"I said.

Quinn and Jeph were in the same band as Bert.They were best friends.

Jeph sighed and fell into the sit across from mine.

"Good"Quinn said slowly."We drove as fast as we could."

"Lots of traffic."Jeph stated rubbing his head.

"Yeah"Quinn said sitting next to Jeph.

Jeph looked up at me "How are you holding up?"

I looked at my feet."I am not sure."

They both just nodded.

I looked up at the clock.Two fifty-five am.Time kepted ticking by.I wish it would stop,rewind,let me fix this.Thats what I wanted.

"Bert are you still awake?"I asked

"Yes.Go back to sleep love."Bert said looking over at me.He was sitting up in our queen size bed.

"Why are you still awake?"I said sitting up.

"Can't sleep."He said.He sounded so distanced.He has seemed so distanced lately.

"Why not?"I snuggled up to him.He put his right arm around me.

"Night time is so beautiful."He stared out the window.

"It is very lovely"

"Gerard do you love me?"He looked down at me.

"Of course I love you,I love you with everytihng I am.Why would you even need to ask?"

"Would you love me if I fell off the wagon?"I knew what he meant by that.

Heroin.That damn addicted of drug.His life time enemy.

"What do you mean?"I asked leaning away from him.Trying to see his arms in the darkness.Looking for track marks.

"No hun"He said with a smile in his voice.He pulled me back to him."I didn't fall off,but if I did would you hate me?"

"Never ever could I hate you.I love you.If you fell of the wagon I'd help you back on."I said smiling at myself for putting such an important subject into a cute one.

He laughed and pulled me closer to him."Never leave me Gerard Arthur Way"He whispered into my ear.

"I won't"I whispered back to him and rested my head on his chest."I never planned on it,never want to"

"Good.Thank you."

"Don't thank me,I should thank you for wanting to make me stay."

He sunk down onto the bed so he was laying down,taking me with him.

"Gerard,love,I will never leave you,I love you too much to be without you."

"Mhm"I mumbled and snuggled up to him.

He kissed my head"Good night my prince"

I drifted off to sleep.
