Kay was a bit neverous about having to share a room.More nerverous about the fact that this girl had been sick,been here before.She didn't know why she was so worried about that but she was.

Two hours went by.She waited watching the door.Everytime a nurse came in to check on her she would ask "when is my new room mate coming?".They never answered.

It was 2pm and kay started wondering if this new girl would ever come.Then a male nurse named tom rolled in a hospital with a girl on it.

Kay sat still.She couldnt ever see what this girl liked like.She wanted to ask Tom what the girl's name was but before she could Tom left the room.She tryed sitting up thinking it would help her see the girl better but it didnt.

Another nurse named Morgan came in.She shook the girls arm alittle.The girl rose her hair.

"Abbey" Morgan said and Kay made a note in her head.Abbey.

"Where am I now?"The girl,Abbey asked.Kay listened to her voice.Small,weak but with a sense of strengh,wisedom behind it.Kay couldnt really point out what about her voice made her feel calm but something did.

"A new room,Better veiw"Morgan said."IV time" Abbey didnt grunt or anything like Kay did when the nurses changed her IV.Kay couldnt help but wonder why Abbey wasnt even more annoyed with it since she had to have it done alot more times then she her self had.

"There all done,I'll be back in a bit to check on you"Morgan said and turned to leave "Oh and I almost forgot this is your new roommate,Kay"Morgan pointed to Kay."Kay this is Abbey"

Kay nodded her head and Abbey smiled.

Kay didnt know what it was about this girl Abbey,Maybe her green eyes or her short choppy red hair,or maybe her pink pout lips or ever the rose color to her pale white cheeks but whatever it was it made Kay feel different,shy,jumpy.
