 Katie told Dr. Steve her whole life story. Dr. Steven had a pencil and a pad of paper. He was taking down notes. So why did you start to self-harm Katie? The Dr. asked. My dad was a absuive drunk who beat me up when i didn't listen to him, i was over stressed from school, nd the kids at school wouldn't leave me alone and stop teasing me. What happened to you're dad? The Dr. asked. My Mom deforced him when she found out he abused me. The doctor finished writing down the fianl notes and he aksed Kaite if he could the scars. Katie said yeah and showed him the scars. The doctor looked at Katie's scars in shock. Katie started to cry and the doctor didn't know why.

     Katie? Whats the matter? He asked. Why are you being so nice to me? I abused my body in a way that someone should be cussing me out. Katie said. You were just relessing youe pain and anger in a way you didn't know that could hurt you. You didn't know what cutting could do to you right? Right, Kaite said. There was a knock at the door. A women that must of been in her 30's opened th door and asked Dr. Steve if everything was done. The docotor said yeah and Katie went with the women.

     She took Katie to her room which she would be there for the next three weeks. Katie started to unpack until she saw another girl in the room. Hi, th other girl said. Katie said hi back. My name is Alice, My name is Katie. They talked for about twenty minutes while Kaite was unpacking. So why are you here. Katie pulled up her sleve and showed Alice her scars. Alice pulled up her sleve's and showed Katie her scars. Once they were down talking it was time for the group meeting

     Boys and girls were there talking. Alice pointed out to some of the kids that were there. She point to a boy who was 17. Thats Jake he's been depressed for three years and he's parents ant him to get help. That's Beckey she's 16. She has an eatting disorder. She didn't had time to go through everyone, so she pointed out to some of the kids. Thats Jerman, Kyle, Alex, Jordan, Lee, Dixi, and thats Nikki.

     Once everyone was seated the therapist said it ws to talk about our lives and whats been bothering us. She looked at Katie. Katie, since youre new will you like to tell your story. Katie was finally comfrotable about telling her story. Once she was telling her story the therapist said, you must have a real nice friend. Katie smiled and said, yeah I do.

     The weeks went by fast. and Katie no longer had thoughts of cutting herself. She left the hospital a new person. She was more active in school, she made up for lost time from her friends, and when ever she had troubles she went and talked to her Mom. Katie kept in touch with Alice and Katie found out that everyone at the hospital made a full recovery.

     Years went by and Katie and Casey still stayed in touched. Katie garduated from college with a therapist degree. Casey also garduate from college witha docotrs degree. Kaitie decide tht being a therapist wasn't her thing. She quiet being a therapist. Instead she went to schools, hospitals, and other places becoming a motavation speaker. Telling everyone her story. Katie never got tired of what she did. When ever she went to a new school or hospital to talk to people, she was never afraid.
