I couldn't help but feel that in a way Troy, had betray the love I had developed for him. As I switched my gaze from the woman back to Troy, I suddenly got the heavy feeling of butterflys sworming in the pit of my stomach. "Hey dad, I would like you to meet April," Troy said smiling up at her. "Hey there miss April," Richard said kissing the back of her hand. "Hey," she replied releasing a smile.
"She is quite a pretty thang you got here, Troy," replied Richard nudging him in the side with his elbow. "Oh stop," she said jokingly slapping at the air. "Oh please do stop," I mumbled rolling my eyes. Thats when I saw Troy take a seat beside her on the couch. I notice him give me a quick glance and then release a sigh. The next the I noticed nearly sent me on an angry rampage. She layed her head gently across his chest and grasped his hand with hers.
I had decided that this was all the shit I could take, so I removed myself from the couch and fled into the kitchen. I quickly got me a glass of water , and took a seat at the empty kitchen table. A few moments later I heard the footsteps of Troy walking quietly in and taking a seat at the table with me. He had a worried and a guilty expression written on his face. "I see you have moved on without me," I spat out at him. "Oh no, Kailee , she is just a friend," he said glancing at me sadly.
"You call cuddling and holding hands , just friends!" I shouted at him. He removed his glance from me and started staring down at the table. "Troy you don't know how many days I prayed for your return, and to possibly hold you again, I mean just be in the same damn room with you!" I shouted breaking into tears. "I'm done with this Troy!" I yelled. "I only brought her here , so it wouldn't be to painful to see you , Kailee," he said wiping the tears from my eyes. "Well Troy, it was painful for me," I said pushing his hand away.
Just only a few minutes later that blond chick entered the room. "Um am I like interupting something?" She asks while cutting her eyes at me and then to Troy. "No, I was just leaving," I replied leaving the table. I then darted up the stairs to my bedroom and slung myself on the bed. But before I knew it I had already cryed myself to sleep once again. As soon as the ray of the awful morning sun beemed through my window, I immidiatly jumped out of bed.
I then raced to my window , but when I peered out I had noticed that Troy's car was nowhere to be seen. I fell to my knees and sobbed heavily. "My only damn, chance with Troy and he fucking moves on without me!" I shout at myself. I then begin to clutch at my stomach on count of crying to much. Just then as my crying began to fade another noise caught my attention. I stood up and quickly wiped the tears from my eyes. I walked over to the door, and placed one hand on the knob, but before I twisted it I noticed that the yelling was from my mother.
I paused and stuck my ear to the door. "I have had enough of this bull shit, you don't fucking care about my needs !" screamed my mother at Richard. "Baby , you know I do, but you never fucking come home anymore!" He yelled back for defense. "And you no why that is!" she screamed hatefully. "Why?" asked Richard with sadness in his voice. "I have done found me a real man, not a child like you are!" She screamed. "Well Diane , if you are going to leave me , then what about Kailee?" He asked. "What about her?" She asked sarcastically.
"Diane, she is your fucking daughter!" He yelled. "She doesn't give a shit about me, nor do I about her, so do as you please with her," she replied slamming the front door. "Diane wait, please we can work things out!" He screamed after her. I then hurried to my window, to confirm my suspicion, and sure enough she pulled out of the driveway and sped off. I didn't know what to thing , I was too shocked! I slowly walked down stairs and suddenly caught a glance at Richard, and he looked devasted. "I'm guessing you know," he replied looking off into space.
I ran over to him and threw my arms around him. "I'm sorry I am the reason she left you Richard!" I said crying onto his shoulder. "No, Kailee, don't blame yourself, she has been cheating on me for some time now , I just chose to not acknowledge it," he answered with a tear rolling down his cheek. "I guess we will need eachother alot more now then ever," he said gazing at me with frustration. "Hm A life with Richard," I thought to myself.
