      This is the story of my life........ blood, fighting, survival, and Love. My name is David Rawls and I am 25 years of age. I am not at all scrawny, nor am I heavy, and I stand at exactly 6'2 , I am indeed the size of a warrior or a soon to be soldier. My brother sean was inlisted in the army about two years earlier, but still he doesn't return. Well everything was all fine until I recieved a call,, the one call that changed my whole entire life. Now I must struggle to survive as I hunt for my lost brother over seas. As my story unfolds I keep my head held high and let absolutley no one stand in my way. In order to reach my goal I must leave my pregnant wife of three months on her own until I return. Along the way I must experience blood , explosions , and just pure hell.

(Author's note : I would like to thank Andrack for winning my story contest. I have used his ideas to form a story for everyones entertainment. This story WILL GET good,, it will be almost a tear jerker at times,, so please read, rate, and comment =)

Andrack OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! Awesome. So I take it your taking the finding his bro after the war option? I actually meant finding his brother here in the states but I guess on a battlefield works too. It could kinda be like a "Saving private ryan" sort of thing. Lol, it sounds drama packed. Anyway, for inspiration on writing about Vietnam, I recommend the book "The Things They Carried" by Tim O'Brien. Its amazing, trust me. I don't like reading usually, but I loved that book. Its also a wonderful insight into the mind of a psychologically scarred soldier.
