Broken Concrete Dreams

Prom, most important day of your senior year, besides graduation. Well for me it's just another day. All because of my bad choices. It all started about two months ago at school.

"SHEA" I yelled across the court yard. Shea turned quickly and walked over, I guess not remembering what we talked about last night.

See Shea is my best friend. We talk about any and everything. Last night we talked about my bf Adam.

"Hey so how was the bus ride over here loser” I said with a big smirk on my face.

"Oh shut up!!" She said pushing me in to a pole while walking.

"I can't believe your dad want let me come pick you up in the morning. Anyways so do you remember what we talked about last night” I said staring at her now.

“Ohh yea, is he here yet?” She looked around hastily.

"No he should be here in bout 10 min." We joked around and just hung out with our crowd.

Our crowd consisted of Megan, the quiet one. I've known her since 7th grade. Julisa and Julie aka the twins. Umm let's see, David, Sam and Jacob. They were the only guys and they were the funniest ones too.

"Celz," she whispered nudging my arm, "He's here"

"Who?” Clueless cause I was still caught up in another conversation.

"Adam!!"

"ohh" I said dumbfounded. "Should I do it now?” I asked kind of scared.

"I'd say do it now and get it over with."

"Ya sure" I said like a dumb ass.

“What ever you do Hun I'm right here beside you all the way." She said given me a slight hug.

I went over to Adam, he greeted me with a hug and a kiss. Which I wished he hadn't it just made it even harder.

"Hey babe how was your night without me?"

"Adam we need to talk." I said looking at my shoes now.
