I rushed into the hospital tears streaming down my face. Jake’s eyes stared at me. He grabbed my hand, he couldn’t even breathe. "You’ll be alright," I said. "I promise,"

"I love you," he said quietly. Then he went into the emergancy room. I waited scared to death. My dad came into the hospital and sat by me. "Natalie, are you alright?"

"No dad! I’m not! He could be dead! And I loved him!" I yelled. "Natalie, if you hadn’t fallen in love with him you wouldn’t even care!"

"That’s what happens when you love someone! Dad! You don’t understand! If you hadn’t taken me away and everything you did this wouldn’t have happened! We were going to elope! It was going to be magic! But now because of you he might die!"

I could tell my dad was hurt but I didn’t care. Then as I had my head against the wall a nurse said my name. I was able to see Jake. I eagerly went into his room but what I saw there was not what I wanted to see.

The screen that showed his heart rate was down and he had a breathing mask. "Jake," I whispered stroking his hair. "I want you to know I always loved you, and I always will. Just pull through this I know you can."

His eyes opened a little. His hand stroked my skin. Then it dropped to my hand. It held it, then slowly fell limp. Tear came too fast. I laid my head on his chest and cried. "I will never forget you Jake, I love you. Our love will never be forgotten."
