Steph grabbed my arm pulling me away, but my eyes didn’t drift away from Marcus until he was out of sight.

We walked to the cafeteria got something to eat then walked outside. We walked out to the usual spot. The guys were like rapping or at least trying to and the girls were sitting on a table next to them boys just chillin.

I went by Toiya, she was an awesome girl but a bit of a slut, just a lil bit.

Anyway we was talking but she just couldn’t keep her eyes off Elgin.

Me: “whats so good about him gurl? If you ask me he a sleazy motha fucka”

She instantly snapped back into reality and looked at me.

Toiya: “Huh gurl? What cho mean?”

Me: “after class he was like so you my guide hey n I was like yeh n he was like so you gonna show me around your body? he nasty”

She was surprised but had to argue.

Toiya: “but come on he fine annnnd I don’t see him checkin any other gurl but you!”

Me: “well... I don’t know... he just don’t seem right.”

Steph popped up behind me.

Steph: “but he’ll get your mind off dem other boys...” she said smiling.

I remained quiet thinking.

What if I still loved Marcus? I mean what if?, Elgin didn’t even seem my type coz he seemed like a sleaze.

I opened my packet of chips and started eating them then Antoni  come over and sat next to me.

Antoni: “Can I have sum ma?”

Me: “nup get ya own” I said poking my tongue out at him and just mucking around, I handed him the packet.

Antoni: “Thanks shawty” He said kissing my cheek and flashing an A-MAH-ZING! Smile.

Then Elgin came and sat on the other side of me while Antoni was eatin all my food.

I immediately felt a cold, freezing cold chill run up my spine.

Elgin ran his hand up my back and tried pulling me closer to him, I let that go and stayed where I was but then he was rubbing my side and my bruises weren’t gone yet so he hurt me.

I jumped up and screamed “OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!”

I ran straight to the bathroom followed my Toiya, Kiki, Anna and Steph.

I Slowed my self from running and Walked calmly into a cubical. I Put the toilet seat down and sat on it.

I was just thinking.

Steph: “hey Rach whats wrong?”

I heard them talking.

Me: “nothing, nothing at all”

Steph: “come out den”

 Me: “yeah just a minute”

Steph: “iight we gonna got back the the guys”

Me: “ok”

I heard foot steps then the door open and close.

I lifted up the side of my top and saw the purplish blue bruises; I ran my hand up and down my side and felt pain.

I knew I had painkillers in my locker with my cheer clothes so I left the toilet and started walking to my locker.

I walked slowly past the school oval, Seeing Josh and Beth hooking up could only make me laugh. If Beth only knew what she was getting into...

I kept walking up the long path past the library, then I bumped into some people I really didn’t feel like dealing with.

Candy- Rachel, just the person we were looking for!

Me- What?  I said with an annoyed tone in my voice.

Lucy- We have a new member on the cheer squad!! Its this new girl he names Kirra.

Me- Shes not a member of my Squad, and she never will be so I don’t know what ya’ll talkin’ bout’.

Candy- Well we all voted and she is now! You havnt been around and so I’ve had to take charge.

Me- Excuse me? You aint the the captain miss thang. You aint shit. So before ya’ll start makin’ decisions wid out me think again!

Candy- Too late for that Rachel.. Your off the Squad.

She said that with a smug look on her face.

I wasn’t even bout’ to fight, Fuck em’ right? I don’t need there shit anyway.

I shoved Candy out of the way and kept walking to my locker. I heard he Squealing and shit when I pushed her.

I opened my locker, took out my bottle of water and took to painkillers.

Throughout the rest of the day I felt dazed and out of it, Yeah Elgin was still payin me attention but I wasn’t bout’ to get another guy involved in my life.

When I heard the last bell go I pretty much jumped out of my seat and rushed for the door.

I met Steph at Darren’s car. Trey was in the backseat and Steph got in next to him, So I got in the front. Darren smiled as I got in.

Darren- Have a gud day at school?

Me- No

Darren- Oh dats aight.. cuz dis weekend is gonna go off.

As soon as I heard those words escape his mouth, I knew it meant he was throwin a party.

Every party he threw it went off..  So I knew it meant more drama to come.
